Having gone to the other guys [ guitar center ] for so many years, going to skips i compare to heaven and hell. From the initial phone call to watching them load my car with items made me feel like i was the only customer there . That wasnt the case. Eric is a freakin legend. Took my Charvel to 3 different techs that’s couldn’t figure it out. Eric figured it out in 2 seconds, and it plays like a different guitar now and made me fall in love with my guitar finally. Eric is the only one touching my guitars from now on!

I bought my son a guitar from guitar center last month for his birthday (never again) and within weeks it was losing connection. It had a loose jack and even worse issues inside we were unaware of. I called Skips. Spoke to Eric who instantly wanted to help since my son’s first show was 24 hours away. I was so panicked because of it and needed to get it fixed immediately. He got the guitar apart and began to work on it right away. Eric was so friendly. So helpful. So knowledgeable. And he had it fixed, beautifully put back together and tuned in an hour and a half. We are Skips loyal customers from now on. No guitar center ever again. I am just so thankful for Eric and his insane expertise. Thank you so much if you see this. You made our day. We will definitely be back!

Was very rude! I just called to find out how to sell my clarinets and they told me I had to go somewhere else so I asked do you know where they are located and they straight up said throw it into google, it’s not my job to tell you the location of music stores and hung up I didn’t even get a chance to ask for the store names!

These folks are always great. You have to be good with informal, but it's great because you're just chatting about instruments with other people who love instruments. You going to Guitar Center? Skip's is 10 minutes away...go there after before you buy.

I love Skips music and the incredible staff! Always willing to help and make sure you have everything you need. You get that home town feel when you walk into Skip's, where everyone is family! The Weekend Warrior program is so much fun and a great way to stay connected to other musicians and get to perform with a band but not have the long term commitment to a band (unless that is what you are looking for) many bands have been brought together by this amazing program! Lives are forever changed, come join the family!

Eric is an incredibly skilled repair technician. He took my ESP Custom Telecaster and made it play unbelievably great. I went in hoping for a setup. He informed me that my frets needed to be leveled along with a setup. I agreed to the repair at a price that was more than worth it. The store is awesome inside and appears to be the most organized store I've ever seen. I'm glad that Skips is my local music store.
