Please don't take your kids here. The girls who draw blood here are very unexperienced. They poked my daughter twice and the second time they moved the needle in her so aggressively but still got nothing so we left.

Anytime my family members had an order for lab tests I would always take them to this location. I use to prefer going here because the wait time was usually short (0-5 minutes). We've never had an issue with this place until 7/30/21. When we arrived in the waiting area (6 people) everyone was told that the wait time was 2 hours long. Even though we showed up on time to our appointment we were not seen until about 47 minutes later. We were disappointed to find out that the two women that we normally have seen in the past were not there. I remember one of them had an accent. I'm not sure where she's from but if I had to guess maybe the United Kingdom, New Zealand, or Australia. Anyways, she and her partner were great with kids. The staff we saw that Friday were nothing like them. I could tell one of them was new. She was struggling to put intake information into the system and needed help drawing blood. Her partner (short hair and glasses) had to help her on both occasions and I got the impression that she was very annoyed by it. I don't have an issue with someone having little experience therefore needing assistance. My issue is with the company's lack of proper training/support for new staff members. Not only that but her partner had a bad attitude throughout the entire visit. I also work in the healthcare profession. When I'm in a bad mood or if I'm having a stressful shift I still never let it interfere with my patient care. I could feel the tension in the room and it made all of us uncomfortable. When the lady with short hair and glasses was trying to find a vein she was being passive aggressive with the patient. We felt like she was rude when instructing us what to do with the patient and her approach was rough. I was not happy about that to say the least. I understand my family member can be a hard stick but I have never witnessed this type of treatment towards them. She should be ashamed of herself. Not only that but she only attempted to draw blood twice. She said, "I'm only going to try one more time and that's it! If I can't get it a second time you need to go somewhere else!" The previous staff would try no more than three times but they always managed to draw blood successfully. These two phlebotomists weren't. We were then suggested to go to the location on McHenry because they have more staffing there. It seemed more like they didn't want to deal with us because they were behind schedule. This was a result of not being able to work independently. The thing is, she wasn't telling us that as if it was out of the best interest for the patient. She just couldn't be bothered to do her job. I've met people like her. They will only do the bare minimum even if it meant their work is sloppy. There's a difference between working efficiently and effectively. She couldn't do either. I understand how this situation can be overwhelming but regardless of how hectic the job can be I never let if affect how I treat my patients or coworkers. At this location they no longer prioritize quality care. The previous staff always treated us with kindness and professionalism. I want to end this review by clarifying that my complaint is not directed towards the new phlebotomist. It was just her partner (short hair and glasses) that made the work environment hostile. Management should be embarrassed for hiring her. We will not be returning. I do NOT recommend anyone to visit this location.

***Appointments are highly recommended*** I arrived a few minutes early and there was a line of about 6 people waiting for them to open at 8am, which was the time of the appointment I made online. They opened the door promptly at 8. She announced that people with appointments will be done first and the remaining customers are first-come, first-served. I was called back at 8:03 and was finished by 8:11am. Great customer service!

Never have good service but this time was especially bad. I sat there for 45 minutes WITH an appointment and checked multiple times to ensure I didn't need to also check in on the tablet since I did so already through the app. I was told no, rudely, each time and after having EVERYONE who came in after me for 45 minutes was told she never checked me in and proceeded to tell me it was on me that I never got checked in even though I asked her multiple times. Im 9 months pregnant and made an appointment for a reason. I was being so nice because everyone else in there was also complaining about the wait time but I left in tears because she wanted to be rude about not doing her job right.

This Quest is my favorite! It is sparkling clean, and seldom any other people, and absolutely the fastest service. Plenty of shade to park in, and the staff are skilled. This office always has the butterfly thingy to make taking blood fromy hand much less painful.

I've been many times. I always make an appointment otherwise the wait can be very long depending upon the unforeseen circumstances of the day and time. The majority of the front desk staff haven't been very personal. It might be understandable if their job wasn't to help the clients who patronize the clinic. What does it take to be friendly and helpful if you're being PAID to be? Maybe the desk staff doesn't understand that these clients are the ones paying for their services even if they don't pay them directly. If the staff was paid for the quality of their service, they might try being empathetic to the client/patient. Most of the people who actually draw the blood have been very satisfactory, patient and kind.

The ladies in the front do not greet or seem friendly, they just expect people so sign in and sit. I saw this a few times I was there while pI wa pregnant.older people would just stand and did not know what to do, and the women would not acknowledge them. In the back is different, Amanda drew my blood a few times and it wasn't so painful. She was nice and friendly and seemed to care. The other ladies that have drawn blood do not seem to care, they poked me a few times because they couldn't find my vein. Now that I know, I request to have Amanda if she's there. .

They can't keep their wait time accurately updated. The scheduling online doesn't actually reserve an appointment. So when you show up thinking you have an appointment you might want to triple check. It is very aggravating being type 1 diabetic and having to fast and having to wait even longer than you expected because they can't get times right.

I am really disappointed in the consistent lack of organization. It does not matter if I schedule an appointment or am a walk in somehow I always get jumped in turn. It's gone from being an annoyance to feeling like it's intentional prejudice

Girls at the desk argued over who was going to draw my blood. Then told me I had an open balance and couldn't be seen. I called the 1-866 number & the billing department was super helpful, even called this location and told the girls I should have been seen because my bill isn't due for a week. I will never go back to this specific location. Never had issues at any other facility but this one.
