Two stars because I was promised with some perks with opening a Citi priority account here during early 2021, namely some cash back and /or some little golden gifts. But 3 months had passed, I checked back with them and my agent played dumb and stop replying my email, yeah like no reply. I find this very disrespectful and fake marketing. Just beware to ask for instant perks should you decide to open an account there, the perks promised in the future didn't work at all in my case.

Citi bank is making Costco members go to warehouse to cash reward checks! I just can't believe they are making us go to the warehouse to cash our reward checks!! We are in the middle of a pandemic, my god, what don't they understand? We are in lock-down for heaven's sake. I NEED that money!! I can't wait months to cash this check. This is money I earned!!!!! I will be NOT be using the Citibank card from now on. The CEOs at Citibank and Costco earn millions, they don't need every penny like I do. I work hard for the little bit I earn. THIS is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is the worst! Take your money elsewhere. Worst customer service. I was a paying client in good standing for almost a decade, when Citi decided to close all my accounts without even giving me a reason. I guess if you don’t have debt/don’t pay overdraft fees they do not want your business. And then their customer reps will send you in circles without anybody giving you any reasons why they closed your accounts!

I’ve been calling fraud department for hours. They either hang up or were very rude. Finally made a visit to this branch at 1:40pm pst today to have them help me as my online access is completely locked. The lady “renhu” I believe her name was, checked and didnt see any reason why that might be the case. She went inside to check with her manager and the suggestion was to open a new account and since they close at 2pm, they cant open a new account today. I said why do I need to open a new account? Obviously I have account. Can you not help me reaching your back end office? She is like, sorry I can’t do anything. Walks me to the door and I said you’re trying to get out of here and showing me the door without any resolution. All she said was she’s sorry. Really bad service...

We had to come to the branch, as my account was locked online and customer call representative suggested that I go to the branch. At the branch, Nick had just one line which he kept repeating "there's nothing I can do, call customer care", when we told him that is what customer care suggested. He just kept repeating the same thing like a parrot "I can't do anything". If he can't do anything, then I'm not sure what he's doing at the branch? FYI: we went to another branch (Hillsdale) there was only one manager there and we got it done in 5 minutes.

I was refused service at this bank because of the mask policy that was not mandatory for san mateo county at time I arrived,The person that unlocked door was extremely rude and unprofessional.I am fully aware of what is happening with c19 virus. I just finished shopping at Wal-Mart,safeway,lucky,99 cent store none required masks. Why was this bank staff making their own policy?

Like most of the people here, this branch is also a horrible customer experience for me. As a new person in the US, this is the only bank you need to avoid AT ALL COST!!!!! Instead of helping you to bank or open a bank account, more likely they would chase you away and saying stuff like "We have tough restriction as we're a world bank". AND I've been to the branch at Los Altos, NOT SUCH THING HAPPEN. Also, never did other global banks such as HSBC. Citibank is great in general, but this really ruin my image of it. If you wanna have Citi properly, I would suggest Los Altos ones. Citibank really need to replace the staff inside, it's suck with customer service where staff always say no and refuse to help.

They were so slow still for two persons in line . The waiting time was more than 28 min.. it’s awful.. the should definitely do something for this ... and the employees just chilling relaxed ..

I don't think this particular branch is that bad, but my complaints are mostly about Citibank in general. They of course try to be polite, but are incredibly inefficient. I had to wait 3 month for my credit card to be approved and issued and they constantly ignored my queries so I have to drive there in order to get some progress. Opening an account at Citibank was a big mistake, because I now have some automatic payments linked to it and it will be not as easy to switch the bank, but I seriously consider doing so.
