Do not go to this tax service been with them for 5 years now. Quality if service just keeps going down.And this year they screwed up so bad .Well in specific Tammy messed up both federal and state .Gave her All the info she needed but she failed to send in A document to Federal .Then state she messed up the numbers so bad .I went from supposedly 6,800 to 5,400 then IRS said she did it wrong to 4,500 …and the priced for electronic little over 300 .Save your money and go to someone who actually cares your paying them to do A job. But even if they messed up she filed so no effort to fix her mistake…Smh bad business

I used to come here for 6 years in a row. Quality severely dropped. Karen screwed up my 2019 and 2020 taxes didn't even have the decency to acknowledge her mistakes and even tried to pass them off as my mistake and after showing proof that it was in fact her fault she had her daughter fix her screw up with no apology or not even acknowledgement of her own bizarre mistake. I referred many people here. And after my experience with her unprofessionalism I have notified all my family and friends to never come back here. I suggest if you're considering getting your taxes done here just don't. Go to H&R block or turbo tax anywhere but here. I wasn't going to comment but after the owner replied, claiming I wasn't a client, you asked for it. Good riddance 👏 they also don't follow covid protocols and complained about covid not being serious and her hate for wearing a mask. Overpriced, under qualified, and a waste of time. Safe yourself the trouble. After almost 9 months we are still working with the IRS to fix what Karen did.

Paid $150 to owe IRS extra becasue Karen did not fully include an income and other deductions. Overpriced service and messed up not one but two years of taxes.

This place is great. Second time coming here and totally worth going thru a professional than doing it myself. I have been helped by the owner and her daughter and both are great. They work by appointment which is excellent. In and out both times within 20. They also have a referral program. Totally reccomend.

Waited till the last minute of course and Karen and Tamie were there and ready to help me. This is my 30th year with Karen and still walk out with a snails. Great family owned business. If you are looking for a great tax office with a fair price this is where you should go!

Went to see Karen at Island Tax Service today! It is my 15th year, service was awesome as always, Had my yearly fix of peanut M&M's , a nice little chat and was in and out in no time! Best tax office I have ever been to!

Just saw Karen for my yearly tax visit ! It was quick and easy as usual. She is the best, go see her and let her know I referred you. This is my 20th year with me.

I was aware of the initial charge of 100$ to do my taxes however they never told me about any additional charges that were to be made, so after receiving my taxes I found that I was missing an extra 135$. I was never aware of this fee never signed any documents regarding this fee. I’ve done everything through text had never even visited this office. I spoke to another tax office asking whether it sounded right that they’d charge me without ever having me sign anything and they said no that was absolutely not right. I called frustrated because this is the 2nd year doing taxes with them and after they beat around the bush they admitted it was their fault and offered to reimburse me. They are unethical don’t take time to overlook to make sure there were no inconsistencies. At the very least that is what they should’ve done since they are dealing with peoples money it isn’t a simple mistake they’ve been doing this for years and shouldn’t have to be told to follow simple procedures
