The Hope Chest is the sweetest thrift shop you’ll ever visit! The owner Victoria is beloved all over the community. She has lovely items and good, terrific-condition clothes and more to choose from. Everyone gets a hug and a blessing for coming by. Love this store, love Victoria and all her patrons.

Just for the record, the Hope Chest doesnt have a working restroom. The owner is very accommodating towards all of her customers. She gives away children's clothes for free, every single day, as she has for the last 27 years. She is a great contributor to our community, and a source of relief to needy families in the area. I have shopped there for years, and never asked to use her facilities, because I knew she didn't have any. Hopefully there are no hard feelings. She's got the best store in Plumas County.

The Hope Chest is the absolute best thrift store! The owner Vikki is one of the most generous, easy going, loving souls you could ever have the opportunity to meet. With the exceptional help of her awesome daughter and valuable volunteers, they present the store with exceptional stylish quality fashions for the whole family. The store is extremely clean and smells good, everything is organized for easy access. Her variety of styles offered is unique as the person shopping for it. Her assortment of household items are great! And all the nicnacs are a sure “score”....the best for me is the kids clothes and toys... my son absolutely appreciates and loves what ever I get him from Vikki! He says it’s the coolest because our friend vikki was thinking he (Noah) would love it, and gave it special to him! If your live here in Plumas County or just traveling through, make sure you plan to stop here (The Hope Chest) it is a great experience and well worth checking out! You’ll never leave empty handed because she has many treasures, and that “thing that you found...may just give you Hope! A smile, price of mind! Or be exactly what you were searching for!
