I have been going to Advance Concepts, for nearly 13 years, I have brought computers and have them serviced by this great company. Their service dept. is very much up on the latest, so knowing that you can be assured of the best service for your equipment. They are friendly and competent. They are good people to work with

I've been doing business with Advanced Concepts for several years. Time and again they have been there when I needed help. Several years ago, I had them build a brand new computer for me and I have not had one problem with my new unit. These people know what they are doing when it comes to computers. They are the BEST in town.

This is a two fold encounter - I went to this business looking for a specific monitor i could not find in Redding. After speaking with these guys and telling them what i was looking for we had a monitor ordered. The monitor was ready for pick up the morning of day two. I was impressed with the cost, timeliness and professionalism. As i am one that likes to build my own rigs, I went back to Advanced Concepts a few weeks later, looking to upgrade a few major components. After speaking with the guys they helped me determine that some of the major components did not need to be replaced as i was getting a sever bottleneck for a different source. Due to the shortage of some components I was told they would have a solution for me shortly. Within an hour i received a call that they found what we were looking for and the order was placed. All in all these guys know their stuff, not only were they able to explain things in a great detail but they listened to what i was trying to do and guided me to a solution that saved me a lot of money.

It's sad to see a local mom and pop shop join the scalpers, I definitely don't recommend shopping here if you value your time and money. I wanted to see if they could help out with getting my pc running. I am only missing a graphics card (probably like alot of people) becuase i was in high hopes the will come back in stock. They said they didn't have any left and that it will cost 2000$+ for an rtx 3080 and offered me that option. After I kindly declined his over inflated price, he then offered me a pre-built computer which is what brought me to write this review. The pre-built PC would be the following specs - amd 5600 graphics card - amd ryzen 5 cpu - 8 gig ddr4 ram This was the baseline spec and it was offered to me for 2600$.... which is probably close to 2x - 3x the actual price. You can buy a pre-built off of Walmart with better specs at 1/3 of the price. Before the great gpu shortage of 2020/2021 this may have been a great store and I was happy to support a local mom and pop place even if it was a couple bucks more. But them taking advantage of people during these tough times and joining the scalpers side by charging 2x to 3x msrp makes me sad and ill gladly take my hard earned money and patiently wait for the gpu's to come back in stock. thankyou for reading my long review <3

Advanced Concepts fully merits #1 rating. I entered their shop on Bechelli for the first time Monday, looking for a hard drive reader. Two previous tries at other computer shops were unsuccessful. One never heard of such a thing and the other dismissed me superciliously with a "we don't handle them". Kurt pulled exactly what I wanted off of a shelf, then took out my old hard drive (it was stuck) and installed it in the reader for me then and there. In and out the door in twenty minutes for a very reasonable fee. What more could I ask for?

I read the reviews before I went into the business. Only 2 really horrible ones, and that's because the customer service rep was honest. I have the world's oldest working laptop. I just took in a 2005 Toshiba with Microsoft 7. The fan sounded like a 727 was taking off. They not only fixed it, at the price quoted, they also didn't try to sell me anything. Yes, they warned me I had 1 year before Microsoft doesn't support my laptop. The customer service was outstanding. Did I mention it was repaired before the said it would be? Just a great little business.
