Small but ever changing collection of N scale, larger set for HO. Lots of tools and scenery stuff too, and larger gauges in the front room.

Poggies Trains, is one of the best model train stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have a variety of locomotives (with Sound, DCC, and regular locomotives in all scales). They also have a variety of freight and passenger cars (in all scales).

Nice little family owned train hobby shop 👍. Unfortunately for me on my first visit, much of the inventory and Dad were at a train show in Seattle. I love model Railroading and this is a nice place to get HO supplies and rolling stock. I love Athearn trains and they have a fair amount of them both new and used. Prices seem reasonable although there was no negotiation on my visit because dad was at the train show. Came in looking for some Kadee supplies but the whole display was up in Seattle at the train show with dad and a lot of inventory 😅. I'll be back for the Kadee stuff and to see if dad negotiates on multiple purchases 😏😄?!

Their new location around the corner from Rohnert Park's Costco is just fabulous. Lots of dedicated parking. The owner is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the hobby and is a great resource ready to help. Prices are very competitive and many bargains can be found. The "old time" Hobby shop is back. Highly recommended.

Very friendly and great prices. Even though it isn’t the biggest store there is a very good selection of used and new trains and rolling stock.

Ok about this store it is great it is worth a 1 or 2h drive because they carry N scale HO scale G scale and S scale there train sets are amazing they have a few or you can make your own set! If you are looking to start restoring old locomotives go to the back area of the store they have old locos and cars most of them are 5-15$. This store has a lot of N scale cars and cargo also with HO scale. HO scale locomotives they have A lot from athlearn,Bachmann,KATO,rivverrosi,TYCO,and other brands they have a few N scale locomotives but a lot of cars. In HO scale they have a lot of building kits for train cars and buildings in HO and N scale. If you have any questions you can ask if you see a locomotive that you like you can ask if it runs or not and they will test it for you. Some locomotives will say if they work or not. DCC locomotives are from 200-300$ they sell train power packs for 10$ up to 300$ so 5 stars great store oh ya one more thing they have a lot of ho scale passenger cars but in n scale you can ask and they will check that’s all this is a great store so ya I recommend this store they also have a Facebook page you can go visit it. A few more thing I forgot to add is that they have O scale trains and some vintage o scale stuff.

Due to some family matters the store had not been opened during two of our visits but today they were open and my son was thrilled. They make the hobby affordable. Even showed us the vintage cars they were restoring. Great little shop. Will sure to be back.
