FRAUD Scammers! BEWARE!!! They show up and make you sign a form that says they don't cover any items that are damaged, that should have been our first clue. Then they threated to take us to small claims court and "happily" take our additional $5,000.00 if we file a fraud claim with our credit card company. They broke my shutters and tried to hide the piece, and then dropped my refrigerator TWICE! It's no longer working Rochelle who is their claims person was RUDE and condescending stating that we signed off that nothing was covered if they broke it yet they sell you insurance, which wouldn't cover anything if you did buy it. The web site says they have insurance but you wont need it. Complete JOKE! I contacted the Bureau of Household Goods and Services and filed a complaint. Their numbers on the web site are fraud. She confirmed it over the phone and the form they make you sign is illegal. They must follow state guidelines and that form is illegal per the state.

My family only uses local companies when possible and when it comes to local Big Bear Movers these guys were great….They packed and moved my mothers house without any issue

I don't even know where to begin on what a mess this move was. Not only did they not stay to schedule, didn't have enough movers or trucks the first day, they broke things costing almost as much as the whole move, stole something, charged my friend's credit card over 1,500$ without asking, and the whole experience was awful. They quoted about 4k$ for the move and it ended up costing almost 10,000$. This company was terrible to work with, ended up being 2 days later than they originally planned. My friend's boyfriend ended up having to take 2 extra days off work to be at the old house to let them in to work. My friend just lost her husband last year in 2020 and this "moving company" really took advantage of a widow and destroyed a statue and a hydroponic garden her late husband bought her. Please please please if you need to move do NOT give this place a chance to ruin your things, lie to you, and steal from you.

First of all, I apologize for this late review of such an excellent company; (I had written a lengthy review on another site in November, but unfortunately, it never posted). I am very grateful that I initially contacted this company in October. Both Dave and the woman who answered the phone, and all my questions, made me feel at-ease about my upcoming move in November. And because of fires in the county in which I was moving, and his concern for his workers' health and mine, Dave rescheduled the move, which gave me more time. And, the following week, the movers Nathaniel & Robert, came to my little house in Big Bear, and moved all that I needed, (including my upright piano), with the utmost of care to Orange County. In fact, in my many moves with this piano (which I've had since the late 80's), both Robert and Nathaniel handled it better, and moved it swifter, than anyone I had ever seen. Also, the men were very patient with moving my many boxes and bags, and retaping boxes for me. And, they had a great sense of humor, which was a big plus in a stressful situation, as moving can be. And the huge truck was so nicely stocked and organized. I had never seen a better truck for moving, along with Robert driving it and parking it in tight spots so excellently. As I told Dave, I couldn't have asked for better men and this company to help me move. I would defintely highly recommend this company to anyone moving. Thank you all sooo very much!! *BEWARE of this business - they go under multiple names! We used this company to move us from CA to TX and the experience was a nightmare! The customer service, communication, and follow through was deplorable. We originally had James (owner) come out to provide a quote and within a week we made a decision to go with this company based upon the reviews online (which I'm starting to think were from the employees/friends/family) and pricing. We were advised during our in-home quote that they provided binding quotes. Once we made the decision to go with this company, we were passed to their coordinator Rachelle to plan the details of the move. We wanted to ensure our stuff got to TX at the same time that we arrived so we elected to have our own truck instead of sharing a truck with other movers since they couldn't commit to a reasonable delivery timeline. They were going to move our 3bd/2ba home and one of our cars for us and we decided to take advantage of their packing services as well, which I advised I would only need a couple hours. All was good until a few days before our scheduled move when I received a call from Richele that the truck they were going to use for us was stuck in WA with another customer and they'd have to use a smaller truck, which wouldn't fit our car (strike #1) - I was really upset about this because now we had to drive 2 cars from CA to TX with our 2 kids, dog, and tortoise. I asked if it would fit all the rest of our stuff and was advised that it should. When the packers showed up the next day, I asked the same and he advised that it should all fit. We were sent more packers that agreed upon and the price was automatically increased, which I didn't appreciate without prior communication. They also offered packing materials and boxes for free (in writing) if we paid in cash and decided to try and charge us full price. After complaining, they dropped it to half the price (strike #2). The packing experience was ok - they had no organization and packed stuff that should have never been packed like a potato, nearly empty bag of chips, just everything in sight - plus stuff I put to the side to take on our road trip. Rachelle also tried to get us to let the packers load the truck 3 days in advance of our move and I declined as that would have been a huge inconvenience for us. There were 4 items that originally I was going to sell but decided to see if it could make the move with us, I asked the packer about taking 2 dressers, a crib, and kid bed (crib & bed broke down to flat pieces and railing) - they called the office and reported back to me that it should be ok for them to take with the rest of our stuff. 2 days later the truck arrived to load our stuff and the short of it is at the end all of our stuff did not fit and we were left to figure out what to do with everything as we were leaving for TX the next morning. I was extremely frustrated as I feel the packer should of advised us at least half-way of the packing process that everything wouldn't make it and then we could have prioritized what was most important to us that we wanted to make the move. Instead we were left with all our patio furniture, important items in the garage, and much more than we expected. We had to give away, donate, and throw away a bunch of stuff that we didn't want to or expect to at the last minute which was very stressful. (strike #3) The next morning we started our road trip to TX, on our last day of the trip I receive a call from Richele that the truck was overweight and they needed to drop 3000lbs off the truck, which would arrive possible a month later and cost us more money. At this point I was infuriated that they waited 3 days later to let us know they had to take a good chunk of our stuff off the truck (what??!!). Due to the character limitation, I'll just say it ended with us paying additional money to get the rest of our stuff to TX, and several pieces of furniture was damaged in the move and they are not honoring their insurance and paying us the money owed for the damages! *DO NOT TRUST THIS SHADY BUSINESS!

WARNING!DO NOT USE!!!! This company uses multiple names to avoid complaints and paying for damages they caused to numerous items they moved! This company is a fraud, they quote you and once they pack your items up they up the price on move day! Then you have no choice but pay the extra 1k plus to get your stuff to your destination! Then you'll never hear from them again even after countless calls and emails to claim clear damages. This company is a SCAM!!!

The crew of men that moved our things from Running Springs to another state were awesome,they took special care with all of our furniture,and all other things and even loaded up our truck on the semi...I would highly recommend this moving company.there fast and efficiant.and most friendly....Great Job guys,and Thank you....
