Very cool concept that has no workers in the store. All you need is either an Amazon account or a credit card to go in and buy groceries. We only bought a bottle of water and it happened to be the cheapest bottle of water of that size and brand entire trip that I was in San Francisco

Amazing shopping experience. The few employees giving assistance to customers were very nice and helpful. Picture caption: it was crazy to see how many devices there are on the roof to provide the automated checkout.

Wanted to experience the future so I tried this Amazon Go store and it was a very seamless experience from start to finish. You download the Amazon go app, scan it to enter, then pick whatever you want (there wasn't a huge selection, just your basic convenience store snacks and drinks and some boxed lunches) and leave, it's that simple! You'll get a receipt later in the app. There is some seating area and a place to get napkins/utensils. Amazon at it's finest - low prices and customer obsessed.

Very interesting concept. There are attendants there that can help newcomers and to help customers but the system is very intuitive. Once it's explained on the app it's pretty easy to repeat. And although you may only get 1 item the first time there, pretty soon you find yourself just grabbing anything and everything. It's a pretty awesome place for any introverts too. Other than the initial greeting, there isn't too much human interaction.

Had to reinstall the app on my phone to enter but there is free wifi so no problem. I finally found healthy, affordable food in the city! Plenty of vegan options. There is a little kitchen area at the front of the store to heat up meals you purchase. Cool concept.

Convenience! The newly opened experimental Amazon go offers everything you ever wanted. No standing in the queue for check out or even self check out. Walk in. Pick. Leave. Highly recommended on the go shopping place for food that is healthy and quick. All you need is a credit card connected to the Amazon go phone app, to enter the store.

An amazing experience. The staff are very helpful and the whole process is very easy. So far all my orders have been correct. My only complaint would be that the prices are about double a normal store.

Fastest shopping experience. Advantages: free wifi, rest room, small cafe with microwave, mayo and so on. So - grab some food, heat it up and be happy again. They are hiring now - best way to enter the business on the early development stage.

Great convenience store with many healthy options. Lots of grab and go meals for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Parfaits, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and heat-and-eat meals. Nice variety of chips and candy bars, sodas and other drinks. My only complaint is parking...it didn't exist. This is mainly for people walking through the area. Nearest parking was a parking structure a block or 2 away, $3-7 per hour parking depending on time of day, 1 hr minimum. The checkout process went seamlessly, though, we got our receipt within minutes of exiting the store.

I’ll like it. It’s a little disconcerting at first to just pick up something and walk out and for now I suspect a lot of people are tech tourists testing it out but the concept works. As the technology becomes more familiar I can imagine popping in to pick up a sandwich and a drink. For now there was an odd thrill to walk out with a chocolate bar ‘without paying’, but two minutes later a receipt popped up on my phone with the charge and a report on how many minutes I’d been in the store. Worth a visit and a glimpse at one of the many visions for the future of retail.
