First time trying it out, employees were very nice and welcoming. I tried the Korean banana milk with almond pudding and the Ube snickerdoodle. Both were absolutely delicious. 10/10 would come back again when I'm in the city. Food : 5/5 | Service : 5/5 | Atmosphere : 5/5 … More

Small boba place, ordered lychee olong tea and was refreshing but little too sweet for my taste. The taste of sesame cookie was unique and actually it was delicious! Nice quiet atmosphere and friendly staff. Quick service!

Second time at Boba Guys, first time at the SF location and it didn’t disappoint! There was a bit of a line when we went (not surprising) but it moved relatively quickly. We got the strawberry matcha and the strawberry jasmine Fresca. The strawberry matcha is definitely for someone with a sweet tooth! It’s sweet but also creamy - tasted great! The strawberry jasmine is definitely more subtle and not as sweet. Both drinks were good and refreshing on a hot summer day in SF 🌞

I never know what to get at new boba places so I always ask the staff for their favourites and this was NOT A DISAPPOINT 🗣🗣 this is the strawberry fields - strawberry puree with rice milk and it was so refreshing on a hot day. I suck with caffeine so this was perfect since it's caffeine free 👍 YUM

They did it again- Another price increase. Overpriced, not worth the hype or quality. Finally writing this after several years of seeing boba guys absolutely gouge people. Boba guys has been consistently sneakily increasingly their prices and price gouging their customers for the last 2 years and they just did another huge increase in prices again without saying a word. They’ll quote the supply chain any time it is brought up, but the whole point of boba guys is that they own a bunch of the supply chains for their own production: 1. boba (US Boba Company- owned by them) and tea (Tea People, also their own company). Increasing prices this much and this often is absolutely opportunistic price gouging. They’re now charging .75 for boba, which is the highest I’ve ever seen in the city. So no, you’re not crazy if you’ve gone recently and thought “how the heck am I getting charged $8 for a drink??” at checkout. Below are just a few of the massive increases boba guys just did this week to further gouge people: - Boba: $.65 -> $.75 - Strawberry Matcha Latte: $6.85 -> $7.25 - Strawberry Jasmine tea: $6.00 -> $6.25 - Matcha Latte: $6.50 -> $6.65 - Black sugar hojicha: $6.75 -> $7.00 - Thai Tea: $6.50 -> $6.75 - and a bunch more Further proof that these are all arbitrary opportunistic price increases is the fact that the amount of the price increase for each is the exact same amount for both drink sizes, instead of scaling with the drink size cost. Boba guys staff are always great, it’s just the corporate decision making of their terrible co founders that has made me hate their business. The unfortunate reality is that these types of dramatic increases result in a lot of people tipping less (have noticed a lot of people do not tip at boba guys- fyi everyone y’all should be tipping, please make sure you tip), but ultimately this comes down and hurts the employees while padding the wallets of the folks at the top. As alternatives for boba in this area until boba guys fixes this, I highly recommend going to Matcha Cafe maiko (incredibly high quality matcha drinks and boba at very fair prices) or newcomer to the neighborhood: Little Sweet (holding strong at $.60 for boba, $5.25 24 oz milk teas, all of which are very high quality).

I highly recommend getting their boba drink hot, I know it’s weird if you’re used to a cold drink. Just trust me on this, if you like BOBA with your drink you don’t regret it. It makes the boba stay soft and chewy instead of squishy and hard because it’s cold now. They have seasonal drinks but the classics are always a good choice. I’d recommend going 50% or less on sugar if you’re getting their boba with your drink.

Service was fast. Drink was delicious!! However, I asked for my drink to be made with almond milk, and they gave me dairy milk instead. My stomach is now extremely upset, and I’m in a lot of discomfort. Luckily I’m lactose intolerant and not allergic, but it’s important to make sure that food allergen preferences are respected.

The service is fast, the taste of the tapioca pearls is quite good, -The black cesame tea is underrated and almost nobody usually asks for it which is a pity because it has a unique flavor, although it has a touch of ginger a little too strong which is not for everyone. -The horchata is very good with the tapioca pearls but it doesn't have as much cinnamon as I would like. -The tea thai from this place is probably one of the best I've ever tasted and I don't understand why more people don't talk about it (I don't know if it's powder base but it felt very natural to me). -The strawberry and matcha tea is a bit sweeter but probably adapted to the tastes of San Francisco people since besides the sweet pearls and milk it has a bit more strawberry jam with sugar but it is a very delicious and unique proposal and a must try. I would love to see the black sesame with a colorful twist, because I don't think it gets the love it deserves, a great experience overall :)

The Boba is unique but good challenging with my teeth. The classic tea is strong tea. The strawberry matcha latte is sweet and can not reduce sugar.the jasmine green tea is quite good.

Okay, I know everyone always raves about this place and I would say it is good but yeah, pretty standard. Highly reccomend placing a mobile order during the pandemic times to skip waiting in long lines. The strawberry rice milk was okay...not that great. The boba tea is good, their honey pearls are done well. Service was okay...but I understand because it was constantly very busy.
