The owner of this shop and his team are great, Pete is truly a good person with good values and he is looking out for the customer. Pete gave me recommendations that saved me a lot of money on my car. Him and his team of professionals went above and beyond helping me get my car safe, drivable, and able to pass the smog test. I went there after getting a check engine light and his test seemed to be the most affordable option while also having stellar reviews. He was patient and helpful and once I was ready to do the repairs his team did the work quickly and was thorough pointing out a safety issue with one of the wheels. I had a great experience there and highly recommend this shop. Since I have been temporarily living in Santa Clarita, I didn't know of a good place to get my car repaired. I needed a simple oil change so I decided to try SCV, and to check them out for any future repairs. I went back to get a quote on replacing my heater core. I even told Pete that I wouldn't be upset if he didn't want to do it, because it's a tough and time consuming job. He told me that he would get back to me with a price, but he never did. It has been weeks. So that's how you treat your customers, huh? If he didn't want to do the job, he should have told me from the very beginning! That's okay!. This place is nothing more than a store front with backyard mechanics! Buyer beware! I read your response and your judgement of my character. Let me start by saying that I used to be a service advisor at a car dealership. When your mechanics do an oil change by jack up my car with a floor jack instead of putting it on a car life, that's "Backyard" mechanics! I have a problem with loud noises because loud noises literally hurt my ears. When I was trying to explaining what I wanted you to do, a loud car drove down the street, and I had to stop talking because it hurt my ears and I wanted you to clearly understand what I was trying to say. Within seconds, a fire truck came to the intersection blaring it's siren. Once again I had to stop talking. What did you do? You started jumping up and down fist pumping the fire truck, mocking me! That's what your character says about you! You say that you garage is ASC certified? You are probably the only one at your garage that is. Why don't you post your mechanics ASC Certifications here so everyone can see them. I won't hold my breath! Good bye! Service: Oil change

I got luck today! I found a clean and honest auto repair shop. Pete was very clear about what was wrong and what I needed to do. He even prioritized it and explained what should be done and what could happen if I prolonged the work. He gave me the option and his advise. His advise to me was that the work needed to be done on my car was better spent on a new car. That it would not last very long and for me to save the headache!
