I have driven past this place a million times without but a glance. But after someone hit my truck, My insurance company (Farmers) recommended them to me. These folks are top notch, super friendly and courteous. Except the extended time they had my truck (supply chain issues making for exactly double the estimated time of return, which was not their fault) everything else was awesome. they kept me informed of their progress at all times. would definitely recommend them to anyone needing repairs. Excellent customer service and quality work! I used this place initially because it was close to my home. I was in an accident a few years ago and I needed repairs. The work and time frame in which they made the repairs was consistent and great. Referred to the Alameda Mike's by my Farmer's Insurance, they did an excellent job at every step of the way - reaching out to me to schedule; giving an accurate estimate of when they could do the repair and how long it would take; doing superior quality repair work; and making it easy to pick up my car. Car was in because some one hit my parked car. Their insurance was paying for the work. Very poor communication for the 2 months my car was there. I had to email them repeatedly to get a reply. Never once got an eta. When I to pick up the car the engine light was on, had to go back. They said a was a sensor they couldn't get to and would be annoying to replace. After leaving a second time, noticed that the car pulled to the right. They said it was due to bad suspension and not caused by the accident, so they wouldn't fix it, but it was definitely not like that before the accident. Would not recommend.

I have nothing but high praises about Mike's Autobody shop in Alameda! I experienced beyond exceptional service! The staff were friendly, honest, efficient and professional!! Tim constantly communicated with me about the progress of my car. I appreciated it so much when my car was finished earlier than I anticipated and the repair was fixed. Plus, they cleaned my car too! Wanted to take some time here and thank them again for their amazing service and very charismatic team. They are super well equipped during this “Covid” phase, was an easy in and out under 10 minutes! They looked at the car, asked a few questions, took pictures and the rest was all followed up with an email update. After the estimate dropped off the vehicle and 3 days later it is as good as new! Highly recommend! Thanks again Kimberley, Jeff, and the sweet mechanic that provided a shuttle service so that I could pick up a rental.
