I like this trader Joe's since it's close by my house and very convenient. They've got a huge selection of trader Joe branded items which are very good. Believe it or not my dermatologist actually recommended buying their tea tree oil shampoo and conditioner so I did and it's excellent. Trader Joe's always has cool things that other stores don't. They have an excellent produce section and a not so great meat selection. The employees here are always very nice and willing to help you find what you need. There's one negative thing and that is the parking lot. The parking lot is a complete nightmare, it's small, jam packed with traffic and it's very hard to find a parking spot including handicap spots. Trader Joe's is situated in a shopping center with probably another 30 businesses so it gets crazy busy here. The store itself is great, well laid out and pretty easy to find things.

Studio City Branch of Trader Joe's totally misled me and my friend. We came to their branch a couple of days ago, close to closing hours. One of the managers said they are closed, but they said they can check and make an exception but told us to first wait and they will come back with an answer. This manager that told us to wait was totally nice but nevertheless irresponsible because you'll see why... Subsequently, we waited for about 10 minutes (which was fine), outside in front of the door where she instructed us to wait for her. After about 10 minutes, another associated, an elderly male (not sure of their race), came up to the door, opened it, and requested us to leave because we were, "making his employees feel uncomfortable." LOL. This is funny because we were waiting outside, minding our own business, but for whatever reason somehow we were bothering the other employees?! lol. Aside from the fact 10 min earlier, one of their managers (for illustration purposes: a female Hispanic woman) instructed for us to wait in that exact spot for her to come back with an answer to our purchase related question. Kind of disappointing experience. A little dysfunctional and misleading, but nevertheless great level of negligence by their team. Good luck and hopefully they can have the selflessness to understand their mistake. End of the day, it reflects poorly by them; not us waiting outside. It reflects poorly based on a number of factors including the following: their staff is paranoid/or not focusing on their job (instead they are staring outside the window at an image of 2 people waiting for their manager), and 2) communication issues between their own team. Wow. Speechless. Confusion. Fragile world we live in.

I would give this store 5 stars but the parking is horrible. Super tight parking and it’s always busy. You have to come early in the morning or later in the evening to have some peace of mind. The store is clean and well staffed. They have an express line at this location so makes it quicker if your running in for a few items.

Not that most, if not all, of the Trader Joe's aren't nice, this one in the shopping center near the intersection of Laurel Canyon and Ventura is really nice. It's really clean, organized, laid out perfectly, and has wide open spaces and aisles to not feel cramped and cluttered. Also, I find the employees there to be extremely friendly, happy, helpful, and seem like they really are enjoying their jobs and working with each other, as I saw them throughout the store, as well as up at the registers. Do you know how you can go into some places of employment, and the employees seem disgruntled and grumpy enough to warrant a comment like, "They sure don't seem happy with their job." That's not the case here. They exude such joy there, that it makes it a delightful atmosphere in which to come spend one's valuable time to shop.

TRADER JOE'S (TJ'S) is a wonderful place to shop. This busy market is part of a national chain. Their first store opened, down the road, in Pasadena California. (1967) ¹ Located across the street from CBS Studio Center, it's popular with writers, producers, directors, actors, and the creative technicians that add magic to our entertainment. TJ'S beautifully merchandised fruit, vegetable, and protein selections include hard to find specialty items at surprising low price. TJ's has a large selection of snacks: chips, pretzels, cookies. There are wraps, cut fruit, and ready to cook dinners. Packages of nuts, salted, unsalted, raw, and mixed take most of an isle. There are many vegan, gluten free, and reduced sodium alternatives. Our dog, Cookie, loves the dried, thinly sliced, chicken breasts. "Two Buck Chuck," a surprisingly, drinkable wine, is no longer two bucks. The store displays a broad selection of soft and hard drinks. The quality of the TJ's labeled products is good, sometimes excellent. House brands are well priced. TJ's branded products, particularly seasonal items, change often. The employees are helpful and friendly. Check out is quick and easy. They do not accept coupons. TJ's inexpensive, insulated, grocery bags are good investment. Everything is ADA compatible, that includes the store, restroom, and parking. The parking lot is often filled. ¹ California has 192 TJ's. Nationally, there are about 600.

GREAT, BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Each time that I'm shopping at this branch I'm enjoying doing that... except of the clean store and the great products, the workers there are EVERYTHING!!!! Always willing to help and always with a smile!!! Yesterday, I had a flat tire (in my car) and one of the workers there, FRANKIE just helped and replaced my tire, as much as I try to pay him or buy him some food he refused and thank me for giving him the chance to help!!!! This guy is an angel !! Thank You Frankie for being such a good person! I wish we will have more good people in our world like you....

Fabulous as usual! If you're looking for anything unique out of the ordinary whether it be fruits vegetables especially cheese, something different for a cereal this is the place to go. And they also have a lot of seasonal items. If you haven't tried it you must try it otherwise you'll regret it
