Wow we weren’t passing through town in the rv. Alway prefer to shop at local stores… well this one is has excellent meat. We even came back the next day for more for freezer. The prices are excellent.

In October of 2021 we placed a large order with 4 other families for pre made specialty burgers, jalapeño-Cheddar and others, about $400 worth. Unfortunately we all received burgers that had a non beef filler and food coloring. Very odd texture, odd taste and a pink food coloring that was still pink after cooking to well done. We sent Emails, our family member dropped a burger patty sample off to the owner. He said he would look in to this, but we never heard back from him. We no longer trust this butcher. What’s in the beef? Don’t know, it’s not all hamburger beef that’s for sure. We had been buying products for over 4 years, never again!

I really love going here. While some of the meats are a bit higher, I get such unique selections of items. Tons of sauces and spices as well. They do sell meat bundles with competitive prices. Customer service is great. Clean store of course.

Love this butcher shop and the family that runs it! Just finished cooking up 4 big slabs of country breakfast sausage. Worth a stop on your way through susanville. Bring a cooler if your from out of town. Easily fill up your yeti! You will not be disappointed.

Best Basque chorizo I've had! Great deli sandwiches too. Robert, Joey, Renee and the rest of the crew will treat you right. Come in a stranger and leave a friend.

They dug out some beef heart especially for my request. Good prices an excellent variety of meats and a nice selection of groceries. Every spice and combination you can imagine.

I love coming in here. They have a wide range of sauces, seasonings and rubs that will please any grill master. The meat is always fresh and the prices are fair. Plus the employees are always so nice and helpful. I always recommend Idaho to anyone who wants to eat local.

You can't find customer service like you get here. The owner is the nicest person. They have such fresh quality cuts of meats. And a huge selection of BBQ sauces and spices. Not to mention the history of this butcher shop. What a story!! And a great way to shop locally.

This is a real, old time butcher shop. Local meats, cut to order! Clean and easy, fresh produce, tons of great spices and sauces . Nice helpful people, friendly and full of great ideas. I love this place. They also do game processing, and they make sausages and salami, so delicious. Go to Idaho Market, you'll be back.!
