My problem is with the friendliness of the staff and his willingness to help others. This older asian couple browsed the regular checkout lanes (lines backed up) and decided to come to self-checkout since they were only purchasing carrots. Mind you ONE ITEM. They did not know how to ring up the carrots. The self-checkout employee was rude and did not bother to physically help them. He gave directions, which is useless and said it in a condescending tone. Let me remind you that the self checkout had no lines with other registers opened. He just stood by his monitor unwilling to move his body a couple steps to press "carrots" and "pay now". I understand in times where it is busy, but this time, it would have done him no harm no take two seconds to help out. I can't stand people like that so I decided to help the poor couple out. If you're going to be working in a community of minority, please teach your employee to not be ignorant and rude to those who can't speak or understand English (this is not the first time). He read their body language and knew exactly what they needed assistance with. I'm sure these people would rather have an actual human help them out, but mind you, only about two registers were opened so there is a lack of service and it is why they resort to self checkout. This was on 6/24/2022 @ ~ 18:15. This feedback has been submitted to the survey count. Although I don't know what good this will do, I have hope that this negative review will impact the store. I'm not looking to get anyone in trouble, but rather to have the higher ups educate their employee about the community in which they serve and how to assist their demographic in a kind and compassionate manner.

Clean well organized fresh produce n meats dairy as well customer service.servers are efficient quick know the store item locations have or not products where to locate polite efficient prices are unmatched in practicality n savings spend the same as.your reg stops walk out with at least a third more of your daily needs n favorites....i really am impressed with FOOD MAX every time I have shopped there. Just saying💣💥😁

The store over all was clean and the employees were nice. We couldn't find stir fry beef so we had to get something different. It was good. Prices were fair ,meat Prices were high but it is close to the holidays so Prices go up.

They have great prices. Descent produce, open late, and good checkers/staff. Downside is the chaos it can be if crowded but not always their fault. Customer base can be less than tidy. Hard to beat the price and amounts available.

Great price on general and weekly sale items. Veggies and fruits are fresh. But the lines are just super long not because there is a lot of people but the check clerk have to asked for help on every items. Three customers ahead of me and I have to wait well over 10 minutes to get to paid for my items. In addition, this place getto, high school kids (15 or more) running around the store not buying anything and not one employees stopping them.
