My alternator blew and I just moved to the area so I had no idea what mechanic to go to. I went to Emerald Auto because of the great reviews they have. I’d like to add another one! I called and asked for an estimate on the replacement of my alternator. Super cheap compared to what I’m used to! Kevin, the mechanic, was super nice and was able to fit me in the same day! I ended up calling and adding an oil change. My car was ready the next morning! Great service, great prices, I highly recommend Emerald Auto. Services: Oil change, General repairs & maintenance

Had a Hyundai Sonata that would not start so I had AAA tow it here. They were going to inspect it and charge me $109 for an inspection which I thought was fair. Come Monday, Kevin called me and said to tow it into Pedder Hyundai which was a great recommendation because the engine was available for a recall. They could have billed me the $109 but said since they never had to do the inspection there was no charge. Great customer service and honest.

Because Kevin and JR are so professional it gives me confidence in the caliber of mechanics working on my car. Emerald Auto helped us through the death of our 2007 Jeep saying not to put money towards resuscitation. We felt fortunate with their honesty. We have taken our new car to them for oil changes and then some necessary maintenance and felt very confident that the car was in good hands. They always treat us great and never try to push any repairs that are not needed. I actually have gone in a few times to have something checked out...expecting to pay out the wazoo, but they assured it was not critical and could wait for a later date to put together with oil or brake change to save on labor.

I was told that I need a new transmission. A $3500 solution not counting labor. I took my car to another mechanic who told me it was a sensor issue that cost me $350.00 to get fixed and my car is running fine. I don't trust them and would not recommend them.

These guys are GREAT! My husband has worked in auto repair industry his ENTIRE life so he knows sales tactics and B.S so when we moved here we needed a new mechanic. Emerald was very honest, no pressure at all, gave us a full evaluation and estimate and allowed us to decide what service we wanted without the normal "guilt trip" that some other places will give if you decline a service. We have since brought ALL 4 vehicles in our family as well as our nephews truck. He was here on a 72 hour from the army in Arizona, when he truck broke and we told emerald that he needed to be back for morning formation they got him fixed up and out the door in time to make the drive back. Knowledgeable, efficient, and also offer a military discount. Great shop
