This branch is one of the worst Banks in the Denver area. I must make a monthly deposit into an account held at Bank of the West. I have used this branch to make said deposit using both the drive through and by walking into the lobby. Either way this transactions takes significantly longer than any of the other BOTW branches nearby. I'm talking 5 minutes and more to do a simple deposit. At any other branch I've been to, this transaction is complete within a minute or less. Why?

I’ve been banking here for many many years. I have two business accounts and one personal. I am your list and get checks from different businesses and entities all the time. My checks range anywhere from 500 to $30-$40,000. I was depositing a check from a recent job when the bank manager Priscilla accused me of being fraudulent. She proceeded to ask you personal questions in regards to how I obtained the check. I’m considering closing all three of my accounts and finding another location. Sucks because this is so close to my home and was so convenient.

I have never left a bank confused, it seemed like two young chicks were high as a kite trying to work a printer but couldnt figure it out. After 20 minutes of waiting by the window with no answer, I was told the printer is probably broken and they cant fullfill printing a form. Asked about a time to come back or day when it may work and was met with a confused, “It just chooses when it works” 😭 Im not even upset, just feel like I went in and came out the twilight zone

Came into the bank to receive my bank card pin. The staff assumed I was trying to commit fraud because they did not see my name on file. The teller told them that I was not an authorized user even though my name was on the card. They took the card and expected me to leave. The staff was very rude. Manager Jeff was not willing to resolve my concerns and told his staff that he was to busy to meet with me. Did not catch the bankers name that sat me down at his cubical, seemed like his 3 years working at the branch gave him authority to keep my bank card and not return it because he saw it as fraudulent. No one was willing to listen to my concerns and decided to make assumption that I was requesting them to go against their bank compliance policy without consulting with a higher up. I had to order a new bank card from another location because the Bear Valley Branch deactivated my company card on the spot. I would never bring my business to this bank.

Jennifer and Francisco at the Bear Valley location lack customer service skills. Jennifer is a clerk that is not willing to help. She only did the bare minimum (reluctantly). Francisco helped but he first wanted to flex his authority.

Don't expect any level of customer service from the teller line. Zero attempt at conversation made. This is a very poorly managed branch. Period. if they refuse to accommodate a small change order for a business account holder because they don't have enough cash on hand at this branch. Something is VERY wrong here. take your business elsewhere as you'll end up going to a different bank to get your business done anyway.

The ladies in the lobby are lovely, friendly, and helpful. The manager, Jeff, is really responsive to customers. The 4 stars is for the company itself, which caused us tremendous frustration. Jeff and the tellers were wonderful during a bad situation between us and the bank.

This branch has the worst customer service! Despite being a customer for almost 20 years they are less than helpful. For many years I used this branch but it has gone completely downhill. The last two times I have dealt with them it has made me want to switch banks all together! The one time I had to leave and go to another branch because they are that bad!

Just need to see a banker to maintain my safety deposit box and I’m seating for over 1/2 hour and no one come out to help. Awful customer services and the bank makes us open a checking account in order to keep our safety deposit box after having it for 15 years.

Went in to Bank of the West in May to get monthly service fees fixed. They said savings needed an automatic transfer from checking, and checking needed $1000 balance. Set up both of those that day and never fell below 1000. A month later BOTH accounts still have a service fee, after the auto-transfer too (I'm looking at it in my statement!). Went in to reverse the fees - the banker (Erika?) lied right to my face both about the transfer being set up and there being a balance of $1000 - I never put anything in after that day and it's over 1000 now... they think they are better than Wells Fargo?? These guys are thieving scammers
