Had a pretty awful experience with German today. He was not friendly and all, and it really seems like he didn't want to do the transaction with me. I left mid transaction because of his terse demeanor and poor customer service. I would recommend finding a different branch to use.

The male behind the counter at the 17th St location named German should not be allowed to speak with any other human beings. He should be in the back as far away as possible from any customer that walks through the doors. What a terrible excuse of customer service. Do better First Bank.

They should show that they close at 4:30. Unfortunately if you need anything after that, they can't do anything because they are getting ready to close. I was trying to get cash out today for a purchase and there drawers were all counted so they couldn't help me.

Normally, I would have nothing but good things to say about First Bank. My 25+ years of banking with them has always been good and I have been treated well...until now. I started a mortgage refinance THREE MONTHS AGO and have yet to close. One delay after another, a terrible loan officer who never bothered to figure out why I wasn't returning his calls (he was calling the wrong number), delay after delay. No communication in regards to status. Only way I got any information was if I initiated it. As a result of these delays, and that I was unable to close at the desired interest rate TWO MONTHS ago, this process has cost me several hundred dollars from the delay! They refuse to help offset any of my costs because of their feet dragging. They "cant help us" because "its not our fault" - EXCUSE ME?!? Whose fault is it since I submitted ALL required documentation at the time of application and answered all followup questions immediately? This process has been the worst refinance I have EVER done.

Absolutely terrible. The worst costumer service I've experienced. They tried to tell me each bank establishment treats customers differently. Definitely lost a client. I will not be banking with 1st bank anymore after what I had to deal with today.

Absolutely disgusted with this bank. They wait till you've racked up enough atm fees to put your account in the negative then post the fees. You don't get notified about the account being negative so that you can deposit money before the bank charges an overdraft fee. But when you look at your statement online it looks as though the fee was charged. Then you find out the fee wasn't charged and your account is overdrawn and you get charged an over draft fee. Most sickening, money hungry bank I've ever seen.

The service quality here relative to a FirstBank is below average. The transaction times are far too long; and, the service isn't very friendly.
