Nothing against the individuals at this location, but Bank of the West is by far the worst bank I have ever had an account with. The overdraft fees are outrageous and they unfortunately "can't" do anything to help out their customers. I will be canceling my account with them and sticking to Bellco. Just wanted to share my experience to maybe help someone avoid wasted money in the future.

DO NOT BANK HERE. Bank of the west has been a complete nightmare the past year. Issues with their server will have you waiting weeks just to open a checking account, there are no prompt responses to anything (even fraudulent activity on your account) and they don’t value you as a customer.

Terrible bank I've never been charged so many fees and unable to transfer money before why have a bank If they continuously drain all your funds. Terrible awful rip off of a bank.

The worst bank , Changing Banks as we speak no regard for customers or the quality of life whatsoever. They go out of their way to inconvenience you charge fees and make you feel like you haven't been banking there for 5 years.

Horrible customer service. The bank teller Aleenie(probably misspelled ) woman with black curly hair seemed clueless on how to do her job. I called in advance to make sure they are able to do a cash advance and what I would need. When getting to the bank the teller seems clueless searches for a “manual” for about 15 minutes then has to call her back office for support. Then decides to get rude and say she is unable to do the advance. I have done a cash advance with a different bank of the west in the past and didn’t have any problems. I will never ever do business at this branch again due to her lack of training and horrible customer service.

They can’t give account balances at atms. So when you close your account don’t accept a check demand cash. Worst bank ever

Absolutely the worst experiences at this specific location!!! The BOW on Havana has always been amazing, but this location has me switching banks!! The bank manager is absolutely a person who is using her position of bank manager as power, and shows no empathy or compassion for certain situations, even my lawyer could not believe how she acted and conducted business. Two days before my induction for my daughter, (12 weeks ago) the acting bank manager made closing my deceased fathers estate one of the worst experiences ever, and very costly on my end, even my lawyer could not believe what she was saying about a personal representative document being dated at the beginning of my father‘s death not being acceptable to close the account. After talking to another BOW manager about the situation I dealt with, he said that should’ve never happened!!! I had all the proper documentation I needed, such as the death certificate and a court issued PR notarized letter from a judge. After losing both my mom and dad within a 3 year period she made it harder then was necessary having to get another PR letter issued from a judge (very costly) and not letting me have this resolved before I gave birth to my daughter!! If you chose BOW I highly recommend going to a different location!!

Yo im thinking about changing banks. What kind of bank only stays open till 4pm!? Is this due to covid19 or something else. I work 6am to 4pm every weekday and saturday till 2pm. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO VISIT IF YALL ARE ONLY OPEN TILL 4. I like bank of the west and 90% of the time i get great service, but if this doesnt change i will be forced to take my buisiness elsewhere.

Customer service is excellent. I was very disappointed when Tyson left and then Michelle. I must say their replacements are just as good. Very patient and accommodating. I have banked with them every since they opened the branch and have never been dissatisfied .

I have banked with Bank of the West for 3 years now and I love them. They have always helped me and given me a pleasant experience. Unfortunately this particular branch gave me my first bad experience. I went into this branch (not the normal branch I go into) to deposit a check that was $25. When I walked in, first and foremost there was only one teller managing the drive through window and the desk, so it was pretty busy. The manager of this branch noticed and came out of her office to help out. When she was helping me she had asked if I have the Bank of the West app. I told her I did and she asked if I had ever deposited a check via the app. I told her no and she asked if I wanted to try it. I asked if the check would be available right away if I did that. She had said yes. I then went out to my car and deposited the check via the app. About 10mins later I went to the gas station and could not make my purchase because the money had not shown up. I then called this particular branch and asked them what was going on. The girl on the phone proceeded to tell me that with the app and deposits, it takes 24 to 48hours for the money to appear. I then got upset considering the manager was the one to tell me it would appear immediately. I am still in awe that the manager gave me misleading information. This branch then proceeded to tell me that I would not have access to my money for another day or so.... Which pissed me off considering they made the mistake. The women on the phone also was not very kind.... I got interrupted several times, as well as spoken to like I was a child. Very poor customer service. Fortunately for Bank of the West... I still love them as a bank due to the branch located on 9111 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80123. They have always accommodated me accordingly. I got off the phone with the lady at the Tamarac location and called the Southwest Plaza location. When I spoke with them, they let me know not to worry and that they would fix it. They asked me for my information(bank account number, name, and phone number), and said they would look at it, fix it and give me a call back. I received a call back within 10mins.... and BAM! My money was there! They even apologized for the other branches mistake, and said they were glad they could assist me with my needs as well as it was not right for the other branch to not fix what they had done..... much better of an experience. From now on, I will only go to the Southwest Plaza branch where I know I will not receive misleading information and I will get the help I need!
