Everyone was super helpful from start to finish. As a new client, I had an outstanding appointment for my new kitten, Tywin, but when he got sick 2 weeks before his scheduled appointment they were able to get him in the same day I called to perform his new patient exam and help with the stomach illness. I will be bringing my dog, Dempsey, here as well going forward thanks to the wonderful service provided!

I love this place. I have been taking my dog, Marvin, here for years and everyone who works here is always very sweet, kind, patient, and so ready and willing to help in a bind. I’ve had to bring Marv in for a couple emergencies over the years, and this last time in particular they got him in right away which was needed. Front desk girls- you’re amazing. I’m one of those dog moms who panics every time something is going on with my pup, and they take the time to either email me back or chat on the phone with me to answer questions or make their best recommendations. Vet tech, Alice (I think that’s the right name?)- thank you for being understanding and for not making me feel crazy for crying in the office, and for being so aware of my anxiety that you popped in a couple times to give me an update. Dr. Kate Levasseur is the best- so kind, empathetic, and understanding. And she really took her time with me to explain the plan of action for Marv and my options. A big thank you to the whole team there!!

Have been looking for a new vet closer to home and this one was recommended. Didn't mind the wait to get our appointment given it wasn't an urgent matter. 1st vet appointment in the books and was a little frustrated. Not only did they not really do what I asked for when I scheduled the appt , they tried to up sell my significant other at the visit on over $2500 of unnecessary procedures that have already been looked at and or taken care of by previous vets. Disappointed our dogs first visit turned into a sales meeting today.

Wow! I’m disgusted and hurt by how terrible the experience I had with Highland Animal Clinic. I work in animal welfare, I have complete compassion for the burnout and staff shortages that are happening in animal welfare right now. I used to rave and send clients to this animal clinic but will no longer be continuing that. I also will no longer be taking my 3 dogs there. The receptionist, Shana/Shawna was extremely rude and blatantly lied to me stating she called in a prescription to Costco when she didn’t. I hope the owner listens to the recordings, I feel that may be a good coaching opportunity for this employee. I’m sadden because I enjoyed bringing my pups to Dr. Jenkins and Dr. Hess but it’s not worth it if I’m going to be deceived and treated poorly by the staff just for trying to figure out scheduling issues and prescription refills. It’s unfortunate because her lying only hurts my dog in the end not.

My fur baby came here yesterday for a wellness exam. They took great care of him! Having trust in your vet is really important and I have that with them!

We have been bringing our pups here for 5 years and can’t say enough great things. The doctors are super attentive and were so comforting and sympathetic when our oldest pup was ready to say goodbye. The staff is great with communication, assisting with prescriptions, questions we have, and always make our pups feel comfortable. Can’t say enough great things about this vet.

Thank you, Highlands Animal Clinic! We have two happy and healthy pups. This is by-far the best vet in Denver. The vets and techs are all knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and fun! You all have made it easy for our new puppy to love the vet, and even our older dog that’s scared of the vet seems more comfortable here. We will be back! (But hopefully not too soon.)

Wonderful building and staff - super happy, friendly, and helpful. Required masks and proof of vaccine - which is very welcome. I've been to other vet offices that felt disorganized or rushed. This felt welcoming and like my dogs were the most important patients in the world. Highly recommend.

Brought my 2 year old pup in for a sick visit today and was thoroughly impressed. The vet tech and Dr Anderson were extremely attentive and made sure my little guy was comfortable. Dr Anderson sat on the floor with him during the entire examination. Warmed my heart to see the extra steps they take to care for my dog. The doc provided me with a wealth of information and took the time to answer all of my questions. If you are looking for top quality veterinarian care, Highlands Animal Clinic is the spot to go.

We have had a wonderful experience with Highlands Animal Clinic. Sadly our dog is nearly 13 and we are dealing with some hard times ahead. But Dr Anderson has given her some medications that perked her up when we thought we may have had to put her down. But they have given her and us some extra time together that we are so grateful for. Especially knowing that she isn't in pain during the process. Not only that, he has called several times to see how she is doing. I would highly recommend this vet. They have been amazing with our puppers for years. And we are so grateful.
