While visiting Colorado, our maltipoo Daisy needed to see a vet. I am so pleased with the care she received. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. Dr. Martin and his assistant took excellent care of her problem. If I lived anywhere near Eckert, Best Friends would be my vet of choice. Thank you to everyone there for your kindness and wonderful treatment of Daisy.

I was so pleased with the kind care after our Golden(Not one of Dr. Martin's beauties) Stella had problems with her pregnancy. The staff was so kind. I really like Dr. Martin's manner. He is very professional and calm. I was not calm and I didn't need to be in the room upsetting Stella. Stella was treated very well. I was very impressed that the office called and left a message asking about how Stella was. The cost was very reasonable. I am very grateful that Stella was treated by this office. We will complete all of Stella's medical care here.

Our deaf beautiful Pit Bull, Powder, is happy to see our vet at Best Friends. The staff is gentle, loving and it is a positive experience every time. We come all the way from Crawford to make our appointments. Dr. Martin has taken care of our cats, our dogs and our worries.

Dr. Martin and his team have gone above and beyond to help with our small kennel breeding program. He's provided professional and compassionate care when our older pets needed to go "over the bridge." Thank you for all you do!

On 4/6/22 went for an annual wellness exam and 3 shots: 3 yr. rabies, distemper, and kennel cough. The Vet and his staff are friendly, helpful, and competent. The cost of the visit was not outrageous and was well worth it.

I am currently using this vet for my beautiful yellow lab, Macy. They have been absolutely amazing. They took her in on an emergency call over the weekend, they’re super informative as well as compassionate. I can not thank them enough for their service. Dr. Martin has been so kind, patient & informative. The front desk staff has also been so understanding & accommodating in our time of confusion & sadness. If you’re looking for a vet who truly cares this is definitely the place for you.

Dr. Martin is such a wonderful caring man! He treats my dogs like they were his own! He is always straight to the point of what’s wrong.. what needs done to make it right!! I appreciate that! I don’t need things sugar coated. Just tell me what needs done and I will do it. I have 6 dogs. From 6lbs- 100 lbs. he is knowledgeable about my unique breeds. His staff are amazing! The receptionist is so friendly and very caring as well to my animals. The vet techs are amazing as well. Very patient with my babies! Thank you all for taking such good care of all my babies!!!! I was so happy to have found this place! I recommend Best Friends to anyone looking for quality care!!! And caring people!!👍🏻

Dr Martin and staff are the best. He was the vet for my animals growing up and now I drive 300 miles each way to bring my dog to him. He truly cares about my dog. I wouldn't recommend anyone else

Update: my other dog came in as an emergency and they were incredible. Everyone has their off days so I change my outlook on them. I highly recommend them. I took my dog in and the vet was honest with me, which was appreciated. However, he never checked her out and insistently asked me what I wanted to have him do, she was throwing up and not eating. I responded that I didn't know, he was the vet. The very next day I took my dog to another vet in grand junction, and he looked her over and seen she had two ear infections and pink eye. So, I called them today to try to speak with them on a professional level and the secretary had a huge attitude with me and said well i assume you are calling to vent and I believe our conversation is done and hung up. Thankfully I have it all recorded and will move to some other level of getting something done.
