Very welcoming place. Nice selection of sea food. Cod special was delicious. Baked stuffed shrimp was also tasty. Really friendly staff.

Delicious food and huge portions. I got the posidens pasta. The drinks were pretty good as well! Shrimp on the cocktails were jumbo.

Not allergy friendly!! Menu item I chose said nothing about gluten (or the sides it came with for that matter) but I mentioned my gluten allergy to my server anyway. Order came covered in breadcrumbs. They corrected it quickly, it was an honest mistake, but I'd have been more clear if the menu had literally any more details. On top of that, my date's fried captain's platter had the breading falling off of everything immediately. Absolutely not what we were expecting considering the price point and reputation of this restaurant. Food is good, but not as high quality as the previous times we've been.

The Canton location is so so. I had one of their specials stuffed sole with a shrimp sauce. It was a sodium bomb! I let my server know. The asparagus were undercooked. They shouldn't crunch when you chew them. The manager didn't charge for my meal. Overall, I prefer the Rocky Hill location.

Been a while since going to the fish house. I was looking forward and was very disappointed in the quality and quantity of the food. Such a shame. Don’t know what changed, but I won’t be back until they announce a new chef. Oh, and please get rid of the musac and pipe in better music

This was our first experience at Saybrook Fish House and it exceeded our expectations! They started off by bringing us hot steaming rolls with delicious butter. We started off with mozzarella sticks and mussels! The mozzarella sticks were like anything I've ever tasted before. The cheese was oozing out of them and melted like butter in my mouth not to mention how huge they were and paired with the marinara WOW! The mussels were out of this world and I absolutely love mussels. They were perfectly cooked and the white wine butter garlic sauce was so savory especially with extra rolls to lather the sauce up with! My husband ordered the special which was a baked or broiled cod with capers over mashed potatoes and spinach. The cod was so tender and perfectly cooked it flaked apart. Not to mention the mashed potatoes tasted homemade. I had the shrimp scampi over linguine in a brown butter garlic sauce and my tastebuds were doing backflips in my mouth! Every penny we spent was well worth it! The staff was also very friendly and nice we will definitely be back again!

Best seafood for miles around. Just had a bowl of New England clam chowder and splurged on fried whole belly clams. Both absolutely delicious. Going to ask if they make clear broth Rhode Island clam chowder, my favorite. Good atmosphere, great service, Saybrook Fish House never disappoints. Five stars, most definitely.

Last evening my wife, son and I had dinner here. The meal was fine but the salad we were given to split was so small it looked like it was for one. Also, the rolls and bread sticks were simply lame. Overall, just simply not worth the price.

The Saybrook Fish House was on our radar since we moved back to the area, and it was such a fantastic experience!! The crab cakes to start were delicious with a wonderful crispy exterior much more crunch than normal and it was great and served with an awesome spicy aioli. The fried clam strips are so simple but so well done thanks to their amazing seasoning, and the house made tartar sauce was delicious. Great patio! Lane, our server, was a true professional and so friendly!! Highly recommend!!
