My son's gaming computer was not getting power after he had switched his components to a new upgraded tower. I brought it to Geek Squad, and they looked it over and could not figure it out. I took it to U Break I Fix (now an Asurion Company). They said their technicians are the best and suggested I sign up for $25/month membership to get expedited service and that I could cancel this after the repair. The first call back said that they re-connected all the wiring and no luck and suggested they get a new power supply that would take 3 to 5 days. I told them the power source was brand new from Best Buy. They then said it may be the motherboard. I picked up the computer and canceled the membership which was not an easy process. I found Norwalk Computer and saw they had great reviews. I took his computer there, and Bo used a tester and determined it was a bad motherboard (within 10 minutes). I bought a new motherboard and he installed it and put everything back together and I had it the next day. Everything works perfectly and I should have gone there first rather than wasting time at the other places. Thank you Norwalk Computer.

Bo quickly diagnosed the problem and kept me updated with his progress, and let me know in advance what to expect and the options we had to fix the problem. Thanks, Bo!

Super customer friendly. Norwalk Computer was like a savant to immediately pinpoint the problem, saving me enormous cost and stress. For most of us, computers are just a black box and it does stuff but we don't know how. Many times the problem and solution is simpler than you think. This is why experience matters. Norwalk Computer is the real thing and not one of the usual "posers" who use the moment to impress you with a lot of complexity and then present you with the binary option of a costly deep dive diagnosis or buy a new computer.

Just weren't to do a pick up. They seem to have what it takes to do a really good repair shop.

Incredibly knowledgeable and professional!! Not enough great things to say. He upgraded my pc and corrected a major error that the original builder of my pc had made. He was very quick and efficient only took him a day.

I brought an HP chromebook laptop to Norwalk Computer today. The owner diagnosed it immediately, and said that the keyboard was broken and couldn't be fixed, as water or other liquid apparently had been spilled on it. As the laptop has been used by two granddaughters, ages 11 and 9, the diagnosis was no surprise. He offered two remedies -- a used keyboard that the girls could plug in via the laptop's USB port or a new keyboard that would cost $100+ plus installation. As a new HP laptop goes for $200-$250, I chose the cheaper way out. The used keyboard basically cost nothing, as he had one in stock. So, I was in and out the same day with a used laptop that works (until the next spill). I appreciated the quick response, the diagnosis and the choices provided. I'd go back to Norwalk Computer in a heartbeat.

Excellent service and charging fair prices. It's well worth the trip from lower Fairfield County to Norwalk to get such good support. The building isn't fancy, but it's certainly in a safe neighborhood.
