Verizon Authorized Retailer - Wireless Zone

Today I upgraded my iPhone at the Darien Verizon store—with help from Johnny! I’ve had my old phone for 6 years or so—and Johnny helped me when I purchased that one, too. It was a pleasure to work again with such an experienced salesperson, who was also very cheerful and patient with a customer like me, who still thinks of cell phones as “magic”! He explained about the different iPhone options and about the various cost saving offers made by Verizon without being pushy. I would absolutely return to this Verizon Wireless Zone store the next time I need a product or have a question. ~Valerie

Norwalk Computer

My son's gaming computer was not getting power after he had switched his components to a new upgraded tower. I brought it to Geek Squad, and they looked it over and could not figure it out. I took it to U Break I Fix (now an Asurion Company). They said their technicians are the best and suggested I sign up for $25/month membership to get expedited service and that I could cancel this after the repair. The first call back said that they re-connected all the wiring and no luck and suggested they get a new power supply that would take 3 to 5 days. I told them the power source was brand new from Best Buy. They then said it may be the motherboard. I picked up the computer and canceled the membership which was not an easy process. I found Norwalk Computer and saw they had great reviews. I took his computer there, and Bo used a tester and determined it was a bad motherboard (within 10 minutes). I bought a new motherboard and he installed it and put everything back together and I had it the next day. Everything works perfectly and I should have gone there first rather than wasting time at the other places. Thank you Norwalk Computer. ~Mike

The Pawprint Market

Customer service matters!! This is an incredibly cute boutique pet shop in Darien that I was eager to check out as supporting small business is something that is important to me. (Especially post pandemic) while the mini poodle who greeted me at the door was beyond friendly, that is the extent of the warmth I felt upon entering. A group of woman talked amongst themselves while failing to greet me or ask if I needed any help. In a world where everything is flipped upside down, kindness goes along way and for that reason I will not be back. ~Mackenzie

Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM)

What bothers me is that the customer service relationship people ae great but when you go back they aren't there any longer- Not sure if they float people around a lot. That break in continuity is a bit defeating as a customer as, in essence, even though its called a relationship its more like a one night stand. My pet peeve about Bank of America Darien is the concierge Mike If you call the bank on the phone he speaks so fast and unless you really insinuate yourself into his monologue you can not get a word in- he does not listen. He has potentil but its like listening to Fox news= one speed -i guess its a sign of the times. ~jennmooney

Exxon

Nasty attendant at this place , I walk in , politely say hello , girl gave me a nasty look , I guess she didn’t want to be disturbed, she was on the phone , make me wait closed to 7 minutes, I want to pay for the items I selected and then she said : I can not register any items becouse its the end of my shift , there was no body else in that place , its about 3:30 pm . Pleaseeee, get some customer service training or get another job where no one have to disturb you. ~Henry
