It's a nice sized liquor store with a stand alone building and it's own parking lot Prices are fair and they have a good selection of wines and beer.

I really like the selection here but I have definitely bought long past expired goods and stuff that tasted like it wasn't kept properly before sale. Your milage may vary.

Highlighted lowest prices allowed in state. Easy to find wines I was looking for. Nice that empty boxes made available outside the door for people needing them.

Great selection of craft beers and the employees were very helpful as well. My only complaint would be that most of the beers are not offered for purchase as singles. For someone like me, who travels regularly, I like the ability to try a variety of local stuff before committing to a $15+ 4pk. I usually end up spending more, but I get to sample a wider variety of breweries/styles so it’s worth it. Other than that, I thought this store was great.

Damn. If this packy don’t have the absolute finest selection of alcoholic goodness I don’t know what does. If it’s note worthy, try worthy and splurge worthy- they got it inside these lil unassuming doors. Set back between two very mediocre places, this paradise is the answer to “what am I drinking tonight?”. I usually go in with no ideas and let the interesting and rare selection speak to me. Better then anywhere, even CT Bev on the pike. 15/10. Never change.

“Are package stores made for Fridays, or are Fridays made for package stores?” the helpful attendant who was ringing me out one Friday afternoon propositioned. After visiting this package store numerous Fridays and being greeted by their friendly staff (in festive, fun shirts pretty much every time, I might add!) who are happy to give recommendations and answer questions, I feel that Fridays are made for Essex Wine and Spirits! The selection is great (I am told they go to tastings to personally pick some favorites that are in their stores) and Friday evenings they usually have an in-store tastings. Definitely sets my weekend off to a great start seeing these guys and picking out a new wine to try.
