Best animal care anywhere! They've handled every aspect of pet life for me from vetting a litter of puppies to handling the cremation of my cat when he passed on. Both Vets I've seen are exceedingly good at what they do and excel at discussing all available options with you for the care of your pets. Reasonable rates for care that are easily affordable for most budgets. Entire staff loves animals as was proven when I couldn't contain the three pups I had when I was paying the bill, staff came from everywhere to hold one and didn't want to let them go.

They have always gone above and beyond for me and my babies. I had to put my beloved Katie down in 2021, and they made it a special experience for me. My dog Mufasa had an emergency yesterday, and we couldn't make it to the appointment they had available, so we took him to the Emergency Vet in Canton at their suggestion. Peter was very nice to reach out to make sure Mufasa was doing well today. I appreciate that more than you know.

I’ve been taking my dog, cats, and reptiles here for about 10 yrs. The whole animal care system is backed up, so yes you need to schedule in advance! It’s a busy place . The staff is wonderful, and all the Drs are nice and thoughtful and gentle with all the animals. I went back to weight one of my snakes a lot and saw them doing nail trims. They were so slow and gentle. Most vets I know restrain and get it done .

Unfortunately I knew my cats appt was not going to be good but they were comforting patient and kind. They aloud me to go home and come back so my husband and children could say goodbye and I didn't have to be alone (yes I could of had as many days as I needed) but that's what I wanted and there was no hesitation on their part and made the time for me. They talked me through the whole thing I'm going to tear up now so thank you again everyone there!

Friendly and caring staff. Dr. Smith was extremely knowledgeable and informative. Her follow through and aftercare was so much appreciated. We feel our dogs are in the best place and good hands.

Everyone is so friendly and kind, and knows what they’re talking about. My dog loves the vet and so do we. They help go over charges and costs if necessary and optional things to make sure you can stay in your budget but get the best health for your pet. Sweetest staff, my toddler always asks to go back too! Highly recommend!

My first time coming to this vet and I am so happy with the staff and the vet. They are so nice and caring and take there time so your animal feels safe and not scared. They took such awesome care of my new puppy and my puppy was not scared.

The Dr and tech were very friendly and patient with our anxious kitten and more than happy to answer all of our questions. They even took the time to email us some material the day after our appointment! Our furry friend may not be happy with them but we certainly are!

This place was awesome staff was friendly and helpful in setting up my first appointment. The vet there is super cool and has an upbeat personality! I went to get my girls nails clipped and a rabies vax. The prices here we're pretty good too compared to other places. I will definitely come back!

We've brought all of our pets to the wonderful staff at Litchfield Veterinary Hospital. They have a dedicated carpeted area for cats which is separate from the dog area, which is nice. The staff and the doctors are friendly, knowledgeable, and have always looked out for the best interest of our pets. Even Peter, the practice manager, will make his way out to the waiting area to greet you and your pet. Look for more details about their "Fear free" practice, as well! Between all our pets, it seems like we've been visitors every other week, and each time we've received the same dedicated care and answers to all of our questions as new puppy parents. Also, Hazel says thank you again for the cheese treat while she was getting her shots today!
