I had the absolute worst experience here with an employee who berated me, cursed me out, and made me nervous to even enter the store. All because the sun was in my eyes and I literally just put my car in reverse...didn't even lift my foot off the break. What a horrible way to greet your customers, an embarrassment of an employee, and a totally inappropriate way to speak to anyone let alone a young woman with her 4 yr old son in tow. The lady in the parking spot across from me who had just returned to her car with her groceries even checked on me to make sure I was alright. I am in the area often, but I will never frequent this store again until I KNOW that this issue has been addressed and resolved appropriately! Shame on you!

The stores are big and overall are clean and items are logically placed. Prices are higher than most in the area. I have had issues with meat not lasting more than a day in my fridge before looking bad. Out of stocks seem disproportionaly higher than other markets. It's the only grocery store in my town. Not my first place to shop but convenient when stocked.

Will is great! I drove up and while unpack someone else's order he asked for my name so he could find mine. Multitasking like a pro. And just like that he was out. Under 7 minutes. Best pickup experience I've had anywhere.

I love this stop and shop ! The recycling room Is always so clean and everyone is very helpful and nice . Really enjoy how they take care of their employees too ❤️👍❤️

Produce fruit is consistently either spoiled or spoils soon after purchase. Continues to have product stocking issues long after their competitors have cured theirs. Excessive post pandemic prices eviident in some product areas..

Butcher that can’t cut meat tells me the day shift butcher will do it and to come back the next day. Came in the next day and meat wasn’t cut because i didn’t miss work to come in the morning. why is there a butcher that can’t cut meat in the first place, and don’t tell me you’ll take care of something if u won’t.

Amazing place I love shopping there using self check out. Prices are great compared to other places. I Hope they bring back gasoline discounts for a Shell stations using stop & shop card .

Ridiculously high prices and empty shelves. It's gotta be great being the only store in town. Employees and nice though. Prices and inventory aren't their fault.

Consistently out of an ever-changing assortment of products -- canned cat food, distilled water, Starbucks coffee, you name it -- and it can't all be blamed on pandemic-driven supply problems. When the Brookfield ShopRite, Danbury Walmart and Wilton Stop & Shop have all these things, then something's wrong with the management in Ridgefield. I've complained about this in-store and never get a satisfactory answer. And I can only assume that the response to this comment below, most likely crafted by a social media intern at the Massachusetts headquarters, will be just as ineffectual.

Went in for my fav Levi's rye bread. There were sale signs for it for 6.79 up $2 from last week. Today back down to 4.79? Wanted to buy rotisserie which was filled with oil that spilled on my brand new shoes. My ATM card would not stay in the machine. I told the nice boy, pls void my stuff I have to leave immediately or explore. Now avoiding store at all costs.
