Great store. Good selection and stocked well. Gourmet foods, cheeses etc. wonderful selection of greens and fruit with lots of organic choices. Good and varied selection of prepared meals near the deli, fav includes the nac&cheese!

Deli is absolutely horrible with customer service l, they turn around look at you and walk away and all go to sandwich making spot to talk. Forget about even asking for sliced think that doesn't even exists to them. The new manager has her nose so high in air as if she is better than everyone.

I love this Shoprite but everytime I had physically been in the store throughout the pandemic two produce workers were unmasked. Wearing a chin mask is not wearing a mask. On two occasions I said something to the two workers and they just looked at me. This last time I made a call to Manager Jerry and I told him that I didn't appreciate "Kevin" breathing all over my vegetables without a mask. Jerry's answer was " covid is not tranferred by food" but then agreed that Kevin is seen a lot maskless and should be wearing one like all other employees. Now, how can Jerry be sure that covid is not transferred via food? The scientists are still in the learning stage. This has nothing to do with politics . It's about perception and handling our food safely. If the store requires customers to wear masks why shouldn't ALL their employees? Other than that this Shoprite is great!

I just moved to Southbury and I'm so glad I chose to shop here. Before I started shopping I stopped at the service desk and Tess was amazing!!! Such a sweet girl. She took the time to explain how their sales work and was great at helping me understand what digital coupons are. 10/10 customer service experience (Which is so rare) While shopping I was amazed at how full the shelves were. Even during a pandemic, this store is able to provide customers with a nice selection of products!

Of all of the Shop Rites I have been to, this is the best. Isles are clean, deli food is top notch, and even the cashier area is well maintained. Parking lot can be a bit tough at times and getting in and out, but never had too much trouble. Whether you live in the area or a town or two away, this is definitely a 5 star place to do your grocery shopping or grab a quick bite at the hot\cold food bar.
