Went today for the first time, the staff was friendly but the whole store was messy and disorganized, shelves were completely disheveled and a lot of items out of stock.

All the people who work at this store go out of their way to help you!!! hard to find good customer serve theses day's i'm sure you all know I accidentally left my bank card in the reader when I called they had it waiting for me. great people you can trust.

This store isn't as good as the one on West St. Spanish cashiers were rude. Ignored me while talking on the phone with other cashier instead of ringing my items. Left without buying anything!! Went to West St and got great service!

This is a brand new Dollar General to the Southington-Waterbury area. Its by far the largest and well organized Dollar General I've seen. They have a huge refrigerator-freezer section. They have many mini branded drink coolers throughout the store (one of the only Dollar Generals that I found that had Mountain Dew Kickstart in a cooler cold). Each aisle was neatly stocked and not many shelves were empty. All product was fronted to front of each shelf. I was able to find everything I needed and much more to look through that I didnt have time to do. Everyone was really nice to talk with and this is really a great spot in Southington to have this. Will come here anytime I'm driving by for some quick grocery pickups.

A lot of great bargains here from food, household and cleaning supplies. Gave it 3 stars because if you purchase food from here, BE SURE TO CHECK the expiration dates before purchasing. I bought some condiments from here only to find they were 6 months expired :(. When I went back to do more shopping and I checked expiration dates, I found more of their stock of food past their expiration dates. Other than that & remembering to check expiration dates before purchasing food, it's a nice place to shop for deals and the staff is friendly!

Rows were insanely over crowded with boxes pallets not one row was clear to walk the shelves were messy amd stuff scattered everywhere. Stuff on clearance rack was not on clearance ..crappiest dollar general ive ever been to ..a Chinese dollar store would of been better then this place ...that should b enough said
