I grew up going to CVS but I’m switching. I’m tired of being made to feel guilty about picking up my meds. It’s like Russian roulette ,will I get this one lady … Final experience was calling a week early for med refills and yet they’re not ready. I called the doctor and canceled the order and had him switch me to another place.

absolutely impossible to reach a human in the pharmacy by phone. I've called 4 times in 2 days and waiting 15-20 minutes on hold every time. I've also called in prescriptions, informed they'd be available, go there and they aren't and everyone seems clueless. Im ready to transfer to a new pharmacy.... this ones customer service is terrible!!!

I have called them several times a day over a period of a week. No one answers. I tried the Dr extension and they picked up within a few rings. The woman was not very friendly I will not be going there ever again

I stopped there @ 8pm to get my flu shot and possible shingles shot. I thought it was a good time - slow and low amount of customers. I went back to the pharmacy and a young male pharmacist was there...he would not give me any of my shots - even though they had it. He told me to go on line and schedule appointments to do at the same time, or do another walk-in the next day as he was too busy and had to fill some prescriptions. He wasn't nasty, but he wasn't friendly, accommodating, and cooperative either. He kept saying to come back next day....HE JUST DIDN'T WANT TO TAKE THE TIME TO GIVE ME MY SHOTS. POOR, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. If I could give it "0", I would. Just so disappointing with this CVS....they used to have the best pharmacy people and help. It's been going downhill for sometime....very sad.

Very poor experience! I've been going here since 2000 when I was in high school. I asked if they had any other options for prescriptions, they told me I bought this prescription before and didn't answer my question. Then the first staff member I talked to sent me to the next staff member who also didn't answer my question and told me I paid for this prescription last time, as the other staff member at the desk did. Even the south windsor cvs has better customer service skills. All I needed was an answer and not the run around. I found a better Place and I will not come to this pharmacy ever again. I will spread the word, terrible experience.

I've never had an issue with the store cashiers, but the pharmacy employees at this location are unfriendly and incompetent. I tried to refill a prescription that I had already gotten at this exact pharmacy before, and was told my insurance wouldn't cover it now. After an hour ordeal of calling my insurance company, being told that's incorrect and CVS just didn't know what they were doing, and having to talk to the pharmacist who had a rude, couldn't care less attitude, I ended up going to the other CVS in Vernon. They were able to refill my prescription in less than 5 min no problem and said this location just didn't want to put the effort into doing it correctly. I'll never be back to this CVS location again!

Prescriptions are never ready on time. They tell you to come back in 20 minutes and when you do they haven't even started on it. The 24 hour CVS on the other side of town is outstanding fill your prescriptions there instead.

Pharmacy staff is beyond RUDE!! One young lady in particular with the glasses and red hair. I wish I had gotten her name off her tag. Normally I would disregard such an attitude and brush it off as someone just having a bad day, customer service isn't the easiest of jobs but this has happened on at least 4 separate occasions with the same employee that now I feel I really need to say something and I'm even considering calling the corporate office. The last time she refused to answer a simple question in the drive thru and instead snapped at me and told me if I have a question I needed to come inside for an answer. I only asked for the phone number of the specialty pharmacy that they had supposedly sent my prescription to. Fine...if there were cars behind me I suppose that I could accept that but I was the ONLY person in line. All that just to go in get the number and find out that the specialty pharmacy they used doesn't even carry the medication and it couldn't be filled. I constantly get texts that my scripts are ready, I go to get them and no one knows anything about it. They often tell me that I owe a large amount for my scripts when I have 2 EXCELLENT insurances and NEVER have a copay. Then I'm told that they only ran it through one insurance and they have to run it again and to come back in 20 minutes...seriously? That had happened to me more times than I can count with them. I dread going through the drive thru because I know that I'll end up with the same snappy b****. She throws the clipboard into the drawer, doesn't open the window to speak to you and snatches the clipboard back without a word. Other than asking your name and birthdate she says nothing else during the entire transaction. Definitely going to switch pharmacies.

Every single time I go to pick up a prescription it is atleast 45 mins to an hour wait. Just went to pick up my sons amoxicillin. I called prior knowing this happens. The pharmacist said it was ready. Of course when I got there it was not. Had to wait for them to mix it. And to top it off the liquid was out of the bottle and leaked onto the bag.. Maybe I'll try walgreens.
