I can’t say enough good about this pharmacy. Cory (pharmacist/manager) and I spoke over Facebook after a post I had made on Bristol Talks about an error that CVS pharmacy had made in my sons medication resulted in my son being without medication for a few days. It was a disaster and I was in a bit of panic mode. He, and other Beacon Pharmacy staff assisted me in getting my sons prescriptions transferred over so that it was a painless process. They were all polite and helpful and they continue to be that way. Also, in the last couple months I myself have needed a decent amount of Lovenox injection blood thinner due to a blood clot I threw after surgery. Because of how much lovenox I need they have to special order my refills, and they get it in the next day and I haven’t had any issues which I’m very grateful for. This pharmacy stays pretty busy, but Cory and others here seem to genuinely care about the well being of their customers. I’m glad to have found this pharmacy and I’d recommend it to anyone.

When I moved here almost twenty years ago I was on some strong medication. The one thing that just isn’t taught in pharmacy school is customer service. I’m not saying everywhere else is bad but almost predictable that at some point someone will unconsciously yell out your last name to make you aware of your script being ready but then they ,in front of whoever is waiting or just standing within earshot the name of the drug then they within earshot of others confirm your home address and phone number. Beacon does not make such careless mistakes. They know me and I see how they know others. They have free delivery. Most important They have candy.

I've been using Beacon Pharmacy for decades. They used to be first class, but the last few times I've had to deal with them, I found them cold, uncaring and a little incompetent. No one paying out of pocket or through their insurance should have to deal with someone who is unsupportive and indifferent. I'm switching to CVS, and I'll keep switching until I find a pharmacy who is100% patient concerned.

I Thought that Beacon was a good pharmacy but it turns out they are careless, I asked them to deliver my script to my house and when I got home the prescription was outside my ripped on the floor, I’m In a six family apt building with people in and out all the time, thankfully the medicine was still there, I called Beacon to advise them the driver left it outside for anybody to grab and they said they didn’t think it was a big deal since it wasn’t a narcotic whatever happened to Hippa laws where your health and meds are supposed to be private? they just leave meds in a hallway for others to take and considering I’m on Medicaid if my medicine was taken Medicaid will not cover it again and I would be at a loss. therefore I will not be using this pharmacy again.

I have been using Beacon Pharmacy for years because the go the extra step for me. They often waited for me when I was running late. I could do prescriptions via mail but will continue with Beacon as long as I can.
