CVS

It started with the pharmacy staff not reading the doctor’s prescription correctly TWICE, resulting in my insurance being billed for a higher quantity of the ointment than I had received. When my doctor resent the prescription the staff still didn’t give me the correct, ordered amount. When I pointed out their error, they acted dumb and proceeded to tell me they’d have to do a refund and rebill in the insurance. Staff then proceeded to say they didn’t know how to do that and it would take some time to get it figured out. I left and asked my husband to pick it up later as I had gotten notifications that my prescription was then ready. When he arrived hours later, they informed him it wasn’t filled because it wasn’t in stock. At this point I was upset with the lack of knowledge and awareness the staff have considering they are handling medications. I went in to speak with the pharmacy manager, Jen, who was nothing but rude and unapologetic. It didn’t seem to bother her she had poorly trained her employees and doesn’t seem to understand that if her employees can’t get the prescription quantity correct, what makes myself or others trust that they are in fact giving me the correct medication? ~Megan

CVS

I will echo the reviews of everyone else before me and advise you to NOT to use this pharmacy. They are extremely impatient and rude to customers, and treat you as if they don't have time to waste on you. I was in customer service for many years and recognize that they may be frustrated and on edge because they are understaffed, but that is no excuse to treat customers the way they do. The classic rude and impatient lines of "I've repeated the same thing to you five times" (even though she kept cutting me off before I could even finish speaking to give her new information) and "so-and-so will tell you the same thing" (even though I wasn't even asking to speak with anyone else) were used on me, among others. I will be using another pharmacy until/if they ever get their act together and I recommend you do the same. ~Nicky

Stop & Shop

This is my go to Stop & Shop. There are always scan-it devices available. The store is clean and the employees are kind. Even after the remodel, I can find everything I need, although I did have a hard time finding chef boyardee for a bit. The few times I ordered through their app for drive-up, they had just about everything I ordered and properly substituted for any item that wasn't in stock. (There was one day that they were an hour or so behind, but it was right before a holiday and they gave me early notice. I did have an event to attend later in the day, so they worked with me to make sure I would still be there on time) Highly recommend. 👍🏻 ~Kayla

Bristol Auto Center LLC

This place could not be more friendly and helpful. Was in need of a vehicle after my Grand Cherokee 5.7 blew it's motor and stumbled upon a nice truck while driving by. Popped my head in and got a test drive immediately. It was love at first sight. Very clean in and out, runs immaculate and they even accommodated a few items I wanted changed after the sale was complete. Also, they absolutely smashed the rates for financing that I had previously shopped. Would not hesitate to do business with them again! Service: General repairs & maintenance ~James

Binswanger Glass

A few months ago I got my windshield replaced by Binswanger Glass. The minute I pulled out of my driveway the day of the repair, my car began dinging and displaying "hood open." This dinging and notification weren't anywhere to be found prior to Binswanger Glass replacing my windshield. BOTH times the technician came out to fix LOUD air noises coming from the windshield, he tried to remedy this "hood open" issue. The secretary in the office called me the day after his last visit to my house and told me that the car dealership by her (who never saw the vehicle and has no idea what the REAL issue may be) told her that "these switches go on my model year and its just a coincidence that it happened when we were replacing the windshield." This is absolute bull, because this dinging and notification WAS NOT HAPPENING PRIOR TO BINSWANGER'S TECHNICIAN TOUCHING MY CAR. The following week, I brought my car to my local dealer for an oil change, who also told me that it was absolutely snapped off by the windshield technician and due to the placement of this switch (RIGHT UNDER THE WINDSHIELD) there was no other explanation for it. I even have the broken part as proof. Binswanger stated that “the alarm would have gone off if the tech broke the piece” why would the vehicle’s alarm go off if the vehicle is unlocked? After contacting my insurance company and having the insurance company constantly being told by Binswanger that they didn't do it (of course they didn't) I'm now out over $100 when my insurance has free glass replacement. They know well and good they caused the issue, but they didn't want to eat the cost of fixing it, so they made a customer pay for it instead. Also, they caused paint damage on two pieces of molding (one on each side of my windshield) which they of course did not own up to. Instead, they added the damage to their "damage report" once I contacted Lynx services (warranty claims for my insurance company), as well as adding what appears to be my FORGED initials. I mean, don't you think I would have questioned this damage when I allegedly initialed it? exactly. The damage didn't exist prior to them touching my vehicle. Of course Lynx services is useless and sided with them in both the hood switch and paint damage instances. My lawyer will be contacting them because this is absolutely unreal. This customer will be sure to never recommend anyone to them in the future. There are tons of glass places around the state, avoid this one. *I did file a complaint with the department of consumer protection, to whom they also fed their lies and BS explanations to. The state couldn't do anything and reminded me that I could always file a small claims suit. By that point I had just gotten rid of the vehicle, so I dropped the issue. The $100 for the hood switch (I didn't have the paintwork done yet at that point) was not worth anymore aggravation than I had already been put through. ~Michael
