We could not have been more impressed with the catering done by A & S for our mother's Celebration of Life ceremony. They were able to provide an all-vegan menu, many items gluten-free, for our specific needs -- and everyone was bowled over by how delicious and varied the food was -- even the meat eaters! Patricia, the owner, and the two servers were as nice and accommodating as they could be, and all went off without a hitch. We are very grateful, and highly recommend A & S to any and all! <3

They catered my daughters wedding and it was flawless. As a longtime customer of the store - I love all their prepared foods and everything they serve- also, the best salads and sandwiches by far… and most polite staff. That said, you can see why I picked them to cater my only daughters wedding. Every guest commented on the excellent food, the amazing service, and the abundance of the scrumptious offerings - 150 people all had seconds. I didn’t have a large budget but you would never know it by the elegance of the foods and their presentation. Patricia and her team worked so hard to make it a perfect day. I can’t recommend A&S WESTPORT enough for daily delicious foods or your special events. Thank you A&S

Had the best sandwich of my life here yesterday - freshest and best roast beef I’ve ever had. Went back for dinner and got a ton of stuff and it was all amazing - especially the chicken scarpiello. What a find.

I visit my parents in westport every other weekend - and going to a and s is one of my rituals. Even though I live in NYC, this is the best place to get specially oils, ingredients, and cheeses, and products - on top of the AHMAZING prepared foods, which i stock up on when heading back .The staff and owner are lovely and welcoming - when my mother got sick, I called for an order later in the day and said I would see if I could find a friend pick it up to bring it to her- the owner said she would bring it herself! I didn’t think that kind of caring service still existed in the world!!! Just such good people. Im so happy I’m visiting for a few weeks this summer. How I wish they had a place this good in Manhattan!

Go here all the time and the staff is GREAT. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Orzo salad, chicken salad, chicken scarpiello, Turkey meatballs, short ribs, osso bucco, eggplant parm, tomato cucumber salad- I could go on forever. Everything we get is better than the last thing we got. I read some of these “bad” reviews and laugh. Every now and then when shopping, you see these customers that can’t be pleased and find fault where none exists. They just want to project and complain. Best prepared foods and retail products in Connecticut- no one else even comes close. Go see for yourself.

AWFUL Customer Service. The workers in the Stamford and Westport locations need therapy. They gave us the wrong order then when we called to let them know they were EXTREMELY rude and started harassing us with phone calls to the point we had to report them. Unprofessional and unhinged. No food is worth dealing with them.

Just had the rudest women almost make my sandwich. I've been coming here for years and the woman working behind the counter seemed annoyed to have to make a sandwich. When I asked for zucchini on it, she signed then rolled her eyes. Aybe she hates me. Looking for a new deli...

Hands down I'm voting for AS Fine Foods Westport for "Best Sandwich!" They have the best meatball parm sandwiches! From the texture of the roll (it's so fresh and soft) to the amazing flavor of the meatballs and sauce, it’s perfect! Plus, you can't beat the service!!

Excellent place to get all your Italian foods plus more. Service by staff is very friendly and accommodating. The salads are all made fresh as are the sandwiches. Good choice of cheeses and meats.
