When I say I’m a tagliatelle bolognese aficionado I’m not kidding. I’ve had it darn near everywhere, but last evening I took my wife out for her birthday dinner at Alforno, and I can honestly say it was the BEST I’ve had. In fact everything was terrific, from the service to the reasonably priced wine to the appetizers to our main course. We’ve always wanted to eat here but for some reason never made it. That’s why last night was such a treat. Don’t be fooled thinking it’s not much because it’s in a Class D strip center where Bennies used to be. The restaurant is lovely on the inside and the staff is very friendly. Jen was our server and despite being extremely busy she was great. Stop in, you won’t be disappointed. And, one more note, it’s waaaaaay more than a pizza joint.

The employees are what make this place stand out. They are genuinely nice and courteous. A shout out to Kiley, our waitress and the hustling staff who helped. The food is great as well, the meatball appetizer is to-die-for. We will be back!

Family run business. Great staff -well trained -friendly and knowledgeable.. Good wine list- drink list a must see. Pizza delicious great sauce high quality.. crust and cheese- perfect every bite!! Try other tasty dishes always consistent. Great home made bread too! God location- atmosphere has a great European style vibe. Never disappoints.

What a beautiful restaurant!! The owners/staff go above and beyond to make you have a great experience. The food is amazing. We had the Flounder and the Goat cheese salad and both were so delicious. The kids loved the cheese pizza. We make sure Al Forno is one of our stops when we are in town. You won't regret it. Kid-friendliness: They gave the kids crayons to color. They also provide kid-friendly cups 🥤 and are super sweet to the kids.

Pizza was a thin crust very tasty but very little crusty edge. If your into a thick crusty edge this is not for you! The sausage pizza was good but not ground sausage with fennel but still very good more of a sweet sausage . The pepperoni pizza was very good thin with lots of pepporoni 😎

I just celebrated my 76th birthday with friends at Alforno. We had the best food and drinks, the best service and the piece de resistance a candle on a blueberry short cake desert. We celebrated joyfully and felt welcome as though we were at home.

Excellent food and service. Top notch concise menu prepared with loving attention. We always have a great time here. Pasta is home made by the way. Check out the key lime pie and Tuscan bean soup. Five stars.

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs, pepperoni pizza, and a Napolitano Pizza. The meatballs were OK, a bit on the mushy side for me. The pepperoni pizza was very good, a bit of a floppy crust but good flavor throughout and loaded with pepperoni. By far the star of the show was the Napolitano pizza. The crust was firm yet soft, crunchy yet chewy. The sauce was excellent and the overall flavor outstanding. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.7.

Spaghetti and clams with the white sauce was very good. Veal Marsala was good. Bread was great. I got an Insalata salad but adding a nice house salad with summer vegetables to the menu would be a good addition. Price per meal portion amount was high. No leftovers on either dish.

So glad to be back for dinner at Alforno Trattoria. This place is the real Italian deal. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting. They have outdoor seating or you can sit inside with plenty of space between you and the other diners. Their fresh bread and huge olives are almost a meal in themselves. I have never really liked olives until I had them at Alforno. I don't know what the difference is but they are juicy and full of rich flavor. They were so good I had to ask for seconds. Tonight's dinner was basic - salad, calamari and penne pasta with their own sauce - just amazing and just the comfort we have been craving. Top it off with a Lemon Drop Martini and I was in heaven.
