I'm leaving one star because of the front desk. Learn customer service skills if youre gonna work in customer service. Yes I was late to my appointment that took no longer than 5 minutes. There was no need for the attitude and remark about when you set it. Things happen. Your waiting room was empty and your parking lot was empty. I don't think we will be coming back now.

Great staff! They really are awesome with your pets. The staff is very friendly and courteous. They work out financial for their services. They truly help me during the COVID-19 pandemic with all my pet's (10 Cats, then kittens) when others veterinarian refused provide services.

They have been absolutely amazing with my fur baby. Great place for cats. So kind and knowledgeable. I've had to go to several other vet offices in the area for one reason or another, and this is by far the best one. Not a loud office so it's great for anxious pets who don't like a very busy environment like my cat.

My daughter took her cat there and made it clear that she did not have the money up front for the care and they agreed that they would do some type of payment plan. Well I guess the lady who said that was in the wrong for the company and they would not allow my daughter to have her cat unless she paid at least a hundred of the bill. Need to say she had already made it clear she didn't have that kind of money so I had to go over there and I ended up paying the entire bill. I will say that my daughter has always told me they took good care of her cat but I feel that there was an extreme lack of communication. I don't care who in the front desk agreed to see my daughter's cat without payment up front they should have stood by that whether they liked it or not. My daughter is a sweet young lady and would have happily made consistent payments to take care of her cat that she loves very much. I truly did not appreciate the stress that they put my daughter through over this. I believe it would benefit them if they created some sort of monthly automatic payment plans deducted from a person's checking account when someone has difficulty paying for the care of their cat or dog. When you're in this type of business the animal needs to come first.

Though this vet is pricey they are a good value because they are so thorough and compassionate! If you can’t get to them they will come to you. I highly recommend this office.

What a wonderful experience we had. My 12 year golden scared me when she woke me up at 5 am with a seizure. Luckily they were so kind and squeezed her in to make sure she was okay. They did not have to do that but they did. What a wonderful vet.

I moved further away and still make the trip to this vet over anyone else. There really aren’t any other good vets in DE. I say this with personal experiences working for vets all over DE in management for 8 years. I never worked here, but I know what to look for and the transparency here is different from anywhere else. Trust me, the techs, receptionists, and vet here are amazing. Even during covid they have been great. They helped my pup get better multiple times and the vet takes the extra time to personally reach out to me to give me more info about the dangers of grain free diets (because of this vet I switched to grain inclusive. She probably saved my dog’s life). Their emails keeping their clients updated make me feel like they care about me and my dog. The techs take their time with her to make her comfortable with any procedures. Where an animal is treated as a # elsewhere, my dog is an individual here. They have stayed open late when my appointment took longer due to my questions. I probably drive them nuts, but they’re still so nice to me. I only trust this vet and the vet specialty center of DE with my dog. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a vet that will take their time, do work in front of you instead of hiding in the back doing God knows what to your dog (aka traumatizing animals like other vets do), and will be honest with you.

They were fantastic with my new kittens. Had to rush them in because vet IQ in Camden charged me over $300! My kittens still had fleas even with the preventive I bought from them! I needed an emergency vet care for my kittens and they took care of us immediately.

Always waited on quickly and they always make good decisions for my dog! Good personnel there. Very friendly.

They where very nice and comforting our dog got hit by a car, they got us right in. We had never been there before but it didn't matter they treated our Bella like family. We had to put our girl down, they where patient while we said good bye. I don't think we could have picked a better place to go. Also they where way more affordable then most places, this happened all of the sudden and right before Christmas so it was a hard time. We will be going back when we get a new pet
