I recently moved to Altamonte Springs and I found this Planet Fitness near me. My expectations weren't too high so I headed to the facility to check them out. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff (all of them) and the cleanliness of the space as well as the great variety and condition of the equipment. You should try the massage chairs, it is worth the membership cost alone. I signed up and I go 3 to 5 times a week. This is my new happy place. Highly recommended.

Yesterday my items were stolen out my locker for a 2nd time. The staff lacks professionalism and the environment is toxic. Its sad because Planet Fitness really was off to a great start in creating a positive environment where all people felt welcomed and not judged. But my experience was traumatizing. My advice would be to go back to the basic with customer service. Detach from clients never take anything personal and deal with everyone on individual basis. Don't throw people items away due to personal biases but use your words to communicate more effectively. Don't take anything personal because its never personal doing business that will help with ethics and integrity.

Years ago, this PF left a lot to be desired. Machines were always broken and it just felt like an “afterthought” as far as PF gyms go. But over the years they have really done a great job of rejuvenating this location. I can only speak to the Men’s locker room. But I can say they are always very well maintained, stocked, & clean. It’s a 2nd story location, which is odd for a gym. Yet there is an elevator if stairs are a problem for you. They can be challenging for me with my arthritic knees. There is an excellent range of dumbbell for free weight work and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Great work, team. You’ve done well here!

I have gone to a couple of gym locations owned by Planet Fitness and this is indeed the worse one off. Unfortunately it is the one closest to my residence. I understand the location doesn't give room for expansion but some newer machines that are at the Clermont locations would be nice to replace the "patent pending" machines and the older dated machines there. Staff is great no problems there. Members are superb no problems there. Will upgrade to a 5 star review once upgrades are in place but I can't justify a more than 2 star review with super out dated equipment. You would think after years and years of no updates they would at least upgrade the water fountain so it doesn't taste like pennies.

I've been going to Planet Fitness for a few years now however this was my first time at this location. It's a nice property it's clean enough it's an older property but still it's nice. I went because there was a trainer there and it was absolutely delightful. Javon is the trainer and he did an exceptional job. I will definitely be going back there.

So i was a member at the gym for like two months as a black card member and then i was told you don’t get charged anything when you decide to cancel. i decided to cancel my membership due to exams and i was told an annual fee of $48 will be held . Of which I don’t get the concept of that . Why am i allowing people to just take money out of my account for what ?? 🤦🏽♀️ It doesn’t make sense. What’s the annual fee for when I’m already paying money for my gym membership. But anywho my question now is does that mean if i come back to join the gym a month after i cancelled i will be charged that “ annual fee again “ ???

I workout here several times a week. Location is convenient, staff is always friendly and helpful, and while it's located in a quirky looking building (it looks like a 1980s dance studio that needs some updating) it's been one of my favorite PF locations. There's more than enough equipment so you don't have to wait a long time to use specific machines, it's clean and the gym itself doesn't have that weird musty/stuffy odor I've smelled at other PF locations because of poor cleaning. I enjoy working out at this location and recommend it. 👍
