I loved the shelter they have helped when I had my daughter's senior doggy they helped me with food and flea meds and then they paid the first of putting her down when I couldn't afford it. Good bless them

Our neighbor passed away suddenly in April and while she was in hospice my wife and I took care of her seven cats. When she died we were tasked with finding them homes. Hannah was especially helpful in assisting us with this emotionally draining task. We are so very grateful these sweet cats were adopted and found homes. Thanks Hannah!

Wonderful people clean and beautiful facility. Although I was not successful having the right dog pick me, I would go back until I found a dog. The staff was super and they have lots of dogs, mostly large dogs I highly recommend if you are looking to adopt and save a dog, go here as much as you need them they need you!

It's like North Korea right now. They have a minder follow you around while you look at animals. They are not friendly. They stare at you and at times huff when you ask to see animals. We are adults no one is going to wonder in random construction. Put up signs like normal people and get rid of the commie minders.

I adopted Luna from the Humane Society of Pinellas in December 2021. It was a good experience and easy process to find a dog that fit my needs, and interact with while making the right choice. The paperwork was simple to complete. The counselor that worked with me was great. She was this really cute woman named, Aneshley, and even gave me some puppy food, and treats to get started. Luna is growing up fast and enjoys snuggles, being caught eating my shoes laces, and playing with other dogs at the park.

I cant find any way to let them know that "poochie" (renamed Ruby bc she didnt answer to that:) is doing fantastic. She is the SWEETEST girl ever and has fit in perfectly with us! I literally cannot say how much we love her and she is definitely HOME. The staff was great during the adoption process. I cant remember her name but our person (thin, dark hair) gave us a good idea of each dogs personality so we could find one right for us. Thank you. We are doing great. Keep up the good work.

They were very helpful and very polite. They helped me find the perfect kitty Bean. He is so adorable and very loving. They answer all my questions.I would recommend this facility to anyone. Best place to adopt a pet. This is Bean having fun with his toy teddy bear and grown up.

HSP is absolutely FANTASTIC! The staff and volunteers are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. You can see they truly care and love every animal there. We adopted our chihuahua Sonny (named Brownie while at HSP) on 1/20/18. Our experience with HSP was so great that when we decided to add another fur-baby to our home we knew we would adopt from HSP again! We adopted Jasmine, a lab mix on 4/2/19, and again had a great adoption experience at HSP. I have worked with and visited many shelters/ rescues while living in PA and FL and by far Humane Society of Pinellas is the BEST shelter 💜🐶🐱🐰
