I only rented a pickup truck for 2 hours to go from destin to niceville and back returned it back with a full tank. This morning I wake up and they've charged me another $33 I tried calling to ask what the charge was and the gentleman just started rambling off another number and wouldn't even listen. I don't even know who to call about this because I rented uhaul from their business.

If I could give 0 starts, I would. They continue to charge me every couple weeks for a van I rented for 4 hours. A van advertised at $19.99 per day. My credit card has now been charged almost $500.00 for a van I drove from Destin, to Navarre and back to Destin. I had the van less than 4 hours. I will call them again and give them one more chance to refund my money back onto my card, after that I will take legal action.

Tried renting a truck and the young girl attendant on the phone was so unhelpful and acted like she could carelsss. I called the Shalimar uhaul and even though he didn’t have one available he found one for me and got me scheduled. His customer service was excellent. Mountain drive customer service was a 0.

These crooks towed illegally. They were loading our car within the allowed on-street parking time in our community, but the driver and office refused to even discuss it. I have never encountered such hateful people. They said they have the right to tow 24/7 for street parking and that's NOT what our HOA contract states - On the rules posted at the clubhouse and signs, it designates 12a-6am.

This place is a front for a shady towing company that extorts you for money. They tow your car for any reason make you pay to get it out. They towed a guy eating lunch at McGuires. He chased the driver down and had to follow him to this crooked place of business. Had to pay the $125 to get the car out. Driver said McGuires called and they would have to reimburse him. Went back to McGuires to finish lunch and pay the bill. The manager said they didn't call anyone and they wouldn't pay him back. The patrons that witnessed the ordeal protested until they reluctantly gave him the $125 and compt his meal. McGuires should be more careful who they do business with. I thought extortion was illegal, I guess unless you are a towing company.

Always deal with Preston or Destini if possible. Always check your gas and mileage before leaving as well. If you don't, you may be in for a surprised that you will not like when you return the truck.

DO NOT RENT UHAUL. They said I returned it a day late which I didn't and charged me $48 for gas (13 gallons) while the same invoice said I drove 27 miles total. NOT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE TO CONSUME THAT MUCH GAS . Called them to dispute and the women hung up. On the phone with the bank to dispute the fraudulent transaction so I guess they'll get nothing.
