Very nice store, we needed recharge kits for 'west marine' safety gear. We checked before coming all the way to the store to find nothing and nothing available to be ordered in. I understand shortages. Please update your inventory.

This store used to be my favorite, but now they are out of stock on pretty much everything - from boat parts to fishing gear to clothing. There are a few staff that are really great - knowledgeable and go out of their way to help. Corporate needs to get it together and get different vendors!

I was able to take advantage of the 30% discount for July 4 weekend. Needed a set of ropes and a Lewmar Profish 1000 windless.. The gentleman that helped me talked me into upgrading my membership to gold in a save me 100 bucks extra.

This store, compared to other West Marines, is notorious for un-informed staff. Checkout people know how to run the register and little to nothing about the products in the store. With a couple of exceptions, floor staff also know very little. Furthermore, they do not recognize regular customers. One day, I had to return to the store 3 times in a 90 minute span and there was no sign of recognition from the staff that greeted me. Contrast this with the store in my previous hometown where all staff knew me on a first name basis and gave me authentic friendly greetings every time I entered the store. Jensen Beach is better at this than Ft. Pierce.

Terrible experience at West Marine. I was in need of some new polarized sunglasses and was relieved to remember that West carries some good brands and quality gear. I bought a pair of Smith’s from their Ft Pierce store last summer. Anyway, after trying on what felt like 84 pairs I finally found the pair for me. I asked the lady behind the counter if she would mind getting me a new unscratched pair. She rudely let me know that if I wanted the sunglasses that she wouldn’t be getting me any others. Basically, tough luck and buy a scratched pair. Her rudeness totally turned me off and after unsuccessfully trying to find the glasses but without a scratch, I left the store. I walked outside and bought the exact same pair of sunglasses from Amazon for the same price. Seeing that my new glasses don’t arrive for 2 days, I drove to the surf shop a couple of miles north of this location and bought some similar shades and they treated me like gold! Hey retailers, Pro-tip: treat your retail clients well or we spend money with online retailers that will. It’s a shame that I’ve been in your store twice and left with the same feeling! Lesson learned... which is too bad, you have some amazing gear.
