did an awesome job for us today! They were friendly, professional and worked so hard to get our things moved to three different locations. We were very impressed with how patient Alan and Court were in their training of Manny. We will use 208 Moving for our next move in January.

They arrived right on time, were so friendly, wrapped everything with such care, and made our moving process as seamless as possible. I can't believe I'm saying this but my move was actually completely stress-free. My movers were so nice and encouraged us to sit back and relax while they took care of everything. I highly recommend this trusted moving company.

Movers were 3 days late. Arrived on day of house closing. Have tried to get a list of numbered boxes and items from them for 3 months. Cannot tell all that’s missing. Delivery came after a week in storage. Only 1 person on truck. Large items could not be moved upstairs so they are sitting all over downstairs. Alliance has lied about getting back to me. Gave me the wrong address to file claims for missing and damaged items. This is my 5th move and NEVER has the quality and service been so bad.

This time we were moving our furniture from the basement back to the main floors. I was a bit apprehensive at first because the move had to be made while I was still overseas. I should have known there was no need to worry. They showed up promptly. While my daughter was onsite to coordinate, I was also on a video call with her and the movers just to ensure that the furniture was placed where we wanted. They even made recommendations as to the furniture placement! They are professional, quite efficient and friendly. Highly recommended!

Please for your own mental health do not ever speak with this company. Unfortunately for me, I didn’t do my due diligence before moving and read the reviews. It’s very obvious all the 5 star reviews for this awful company are either fake or bought. Pay attention to the heart felt one star reviews they got. Pay attentional to the absolute gall this company has to comment below these reviews and blatantly lie saying these people didn’t use the company. These invest more in deception then they do in their treacherous customer service. First, they add an insane amount of fees to their quote, but they do that after they already are at your place to pick up your things. They purposely dramatically low ball their quotes. Once they have your stuff, good luck getting it back. I spoke with Lilly (may not be exactly her name but close) the first time I questioned when my items were going to be delivered. She was an absolute awful human being. I’m someone who refuses to raise their voice even when dealing with horrific people like Lilly, and she immediately raised her voice and began yelling. After that, she refused to pick up any of my calls. About 20 days in without my stuff, I got switched to Nancy. Nancy is also bad, but that’s mostly probably because she is forced to lie for this abysmal company. At least Nancy had the common courtesy to answer my questions. In total, it took 54 days after I told them I was ready for delivery, to deliver my things. 54 days living in mostly an empty apartment waiting for all my clothes, furniture, bed, etc. It would have been a lot better if they told me it would have been long, but they always made it seem like it was going to be soon. The quote they always use is “the movers will call you the day before they deliver”. Translated, that means we have absolutely no idea when it’ll get delivered and it’s not soon. Nancy lied to me 2 times saying it was going to be deliver in the next couple of days. That was on day 39 and day 46 respectively. The most ironic thing of all is, after hearing “the movers will call you the day before they deliver” probably 100 times from the customer service team, the movers gave me 1 hour notice lol. If I save one poor soul from using this dreadful company, I’ll feel better, but I truly hope no one mistakenly uses this company again!

I scheduled my move a month in advance and paid a deposit. When I scheduled this, it was NOT communicated to me how they run their service. Instead of picking up your items and taking them to your new home on your scheduled date, they do things differently. First of all, they need multiple jobs in your area with the same pickup dates or they will reschedule those dates. If they decide to reschedule your dates, they don't let you know until TWO days before the dates. From there, if/when they do pick up your items, you have to let the driver know when is the first date you would be available to have your items delivered. That's not when they WILL deliver your items, but the first date YOU are available to receive them. Finally, once they again have enough jobs in the area you now currently live, they will call you to schedule a date to deliver your items. So here I am moving in two days unable to stay in my current apartment scrambling to find a new moving service that will do such a quick turnaround. The ONLY reason why I am giving them more than 1 star is because Nancy, the person who I spoke with today, took the time out to explain everything to me in detail and tried her best to accommodate my needs. TL;DR: Don't use them if you have a concrete move out date. Don't use them if you need your items immediately with the move.

- They breached their own contract by failing to arrive in their own pickup window. - They performed a bait-and-switch maneuver on me. Zack M. (the driver) said Larry didn’t know what he was talking about when we originally contracted $2,900 for 300 cubic feet. He said they needed to retire Larry. Zack said we’d need to move 600 cubic feet instead, for $6,240. - They committed fraud by charging me to move 600 cubic feet of household goods, which I later measured to only be 185 cubic feet total. - Larry, Zack M., and Lily M. lied and breached the contract by promising me a special TV shipping box. Zack M. (the driver) refused to honor the contract, even when Lily M. (a manager) told him over the phone he would. Instead, he wrapped our large flatscreen television in a blanket. The TV was, of course, smashed in the shipment. When I later brought this up with Nancy A, she acknowledged they breached the contract, but refused to do anything about it. Instead, she told me to file a claim with the rest of the furniture they’d damaged or destroyed (which was nearly all of it). - They charged me a meaningless “bulky” fee for two items: a table and an armoire. Nancy A. admitted this fee did not go to any additional manpower or packaging for large items. I determined it was just an excuse to pocket an extra $600...especially since they damaged every side of the armoire and completely destroyed the table. To be fair, they did later refund $300 for the table since Zack had lied that it was a bulky item. - But, for that refund above, Nancy A. refused to put it in writing. And, in fact, she later lied and, instead, doubled-charged me an extra $600. Nancy would not answer my call to discuss, so I talked to the manager, Julia. She later told me I’d been accidentally double-charged instead of refunded. Later on, Nancy would lie yet again that “my manager gave you a Discount [sic] of $600”, when, in fact, I was just trying to get her to honor the refund she’d promised in the first place. It was definitely convenient for Alliance Movers that they didn’t put any of it in writing. - Alliance Movers breached their contract by refusing to re-assemble any of the furniture they’d taken apart - Alliance Movers breached their contract by refusing to place the furniture. Their contract says the first flight of stairs is supposed to be free. Instead, I have a large, damaged armoire sitting by the front door. This is further evidence of the point above that Alliance Movers takes $300 for “bulky” furniture and just pockets the money. - As I tried to discuss all these failures above, Nancy lied that she could no longer talk to me, because their contract was with my wife…even though I signed the contract and forms (my wife made the original phone call). - Of the 23 boxes they were paid to deliver, all 23 were damaged. Of those, 14 were significantly damaged. - Of the 18 pieces of furniture they were paid to deliver, 14 were either damaged, lost, or completely destroyed. - They failed to properly tag about half of my items. - Observation: After about 15 moves in my life, much of the damage to the boxes above looked to me to be intentional (I’m guessing due to the argument I had with Zack M. and Lily M.). Most box damage I’ve seen comes from scrapes and drops, with dinged corners or scratches. Here, the severe accordion-like damage looks to me like they were thrown and/or crushed. To date: Larry has yet to return our calls (left him three messages). Lily M. has not called me back as she promised. Nancy A. has not called me back to address the fraudulent moving charge for 600 cubic feet, their breach of contract to re-assemble furniture, their breach of contract to place the furniture for free, the breach of contract for the TV box, or their breach of contract to pick up my items in the agreed upon window.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. My entire experience with Alliance Movers Group was awful. Throughout the process, no employee could tell me where my a were or when I could expect to receive them. The first truck showed up with less than half of my items and they demanded full payment to unload the truck. I refused to pay full until I had all of my stuff. It took two more trucks to finally get all of my items, most of which had suffered damage. My items were picked up on March 16 and I did not receive the last of my items until April 23rd, after being told initially that the company could have my items to me within a few days of pickup. They charge $50 for television packing, but just taped two pieces of cardboard around the tv with no protective padding or anything. Your TVs will come dinged and dented, as will everything else. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The first truck showed up with two mattresses (not mine) without any plastic covering on, duct taped to the outside back of the truck. It was snowing outside and the mattresses were filthy from traveling taped to the outside of the truck. I had to reach out multiple times per week for updates and rarely received adequate information. At one point, they had no idea where my two brand new 55 and 65 inch TVs were!!! After multiple emails and phone calls complaining, I was offered an insulting $50 refund for my troubles. Eventually, they upped it to $350 but still have yet to pay, and keep telling me the "case is closed." If you choose to use this company, it will add even more stress to the already stressful situation of moving your family. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This moving company is shady and will damage your items and rip you off.

Beware of this company and consider any other option if you are moving long distance. We went with Alliance Movers Group because they sounded great in their initial phone call. They were one of the higher estimates but I thought it would be worth it. I was totally wrong. They talked like they would wrap and protect our items and they did a horrible job. Things showed up broken, scratched and dented. They packed things with no care at all. They put items right against each other with no padding at all to protect them. Many framed artwork came with broken glass and even broken frames. Things were put into boxes with no padding and left to scratch each other up. It was so carelessly done, it was a shame how this company handled their business. On top of all that, after receiving so many broken, damaged items when the move arrived, the people at the company avoided phone calls, didn't answer emails or messages and tried to avoid rectifying the situation. This was an awful experience and I urge you to avoid this company completely.

I don’t understand why this company has such a high rating, the pickup crew were days late, and when we received our belongings 3 months later many of our things were damaged including our brand new washer and dryer. Response was minimal to zero and nobody seemed to have an answer where our things were. The quote was just under $5000 dollars off what we had to pay which wasn’t a pleasant surprise, but we payed in full the day after pickup not to see our things again for a long time. In fact the delivery team complained about how terrible alliance is as well as they are third party and alliance isn’t an actual moving company apparently. The truck I see in the photos with alliance on the side is not the truck that delivered our things, 11:45 pm we had a Ryder truck pull up with our things with absolutely no warning they were even coming. I’m attaching photos of the packing and broken things, if I were to do it again it absolutely wouldn’t be with this company as I feel swindled and taken advantage of. The response from them to this post must be a lie, what other alliance movers from Florida is there? This company should be ashamed,
