Update: Pods reached out to me a few minutes after posting this review. I appreciate the quick response. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. This is the WORST experience I have ever had with PODs. I didn't want to come online to blast them but since I have been trying to reach this storage facility for over a week this was my only option. Moving takes coordination of several parts. I made sure too coordinate and schedule pods, movers, approval to have pods at my location, etc. well in advance. 1. The number for this storage facility online has been disconnected. The number the pods customer service has for the manager at this location must be old as the person never answers. The Territory manager never responds to emails either. 2. My account has had issues and I cannot even log in anymore. 3. I have gotten the complete run around by the PODS 1800 number. I have been told countless times a manager or specialist would follow up and no one has contacted me. I was told by one manager that she would make sure my account was taken care of.... I never heard from her again and continued to experience issues. 4. Delivery of container A: it was scheduled to be delivered on 22 July. Due to errors with account I had to call and do a manual process with them. I called to confirm everything was set. On 19 July, I received an email saying my pod was being delivered a different day. I called to discuss and was told it was a system error it would be delivered on 22 July. I confirmed this on 19 July and 21 July. I and my spouse took off work on 22 July to unload the pod..... But at 9am no Pod had arrived. I called and found out that it wasn't coming and there was another system error. My pod was delivered finally on a different day. It was only delivered because when I originally did my order I picked a random future date. Once I had my official move in date for my location, that is when I called to have it changed to 22 July and the manual process started. 5. Pick up of 1st pod has still not occurred. I have called almost daily to get told they cannot reach the storage facility and there is still an error with my account. I was told there is nothing the 1800 pods could do and that I needed to go to the physical pods storage location to schedule my pod pick up. 6. Delivery of 2nd pod. I have still not received my 2nd pod. It has items I need... Like my bed... 7. No manager or specialist have followed up with me as they stated they would. I have had to call and explain AGAIN and AGAIN to get nothing to have people at 1800 pods tell me they cannot help. 8. Today I called again... I was told again I needed to go to the physical location which is supposedly only open 8-4 Mon-Friday and would require me taking off work again. After being disconnected from the first person, I called back to explain everything AGAIN. The agent this time tried scheduling my pod. And was able to finally schedule it.... For next week, which is the earliest they can do it. NO CONSIDERATION or offer for an earlier date since I've had a pod in my driveway for several days waiting on Pods. I will be surprised if I ever hear from any manager or specialist at pods. I will be disputing multiple charges including if there are any additional monthly storage charges. The amount of time and effort I have spent on this is ridiculous. Each contact with PODS which has been at least daily has been 40-60 minute phone calls. No one has taken ownership. Each time stating it is a system error or the facilities issue. I have used PODS before and never had this many issues. To say I have been inconvenienced by a service I'm paying for is an understatement.

We had a terrible experience. We used PODS to store some of our items during our local move. The items were stored in the Pinellas facility. When we opened our pod at the new home it was infested with termites. We paid to have the pod fumigated (over $800 and kept the pod an extra week). The company denied our claim for damages. After seeing this infestation I looked into other experiences. I noticed our pod was made entirely of plywood while other pods are metal. I am furious that we were given a pod that caused the termite issue while others received a pod that is more durable. The pod was supposed to be in a facility that protects it from bugs etc. But clearly there was a breach of sorts.

They could not meet a scheduled delivery or pickup date and would try to reschedule for 5 days later. Customer service for their company is no help. Way over priced for the lack of service I received.

Moved 1200 miles which involved 2 months of storage until I was able to purchase and move into new house. The price was reasonable, everyone I spoke with was helpful and friendly, and after unpacking the last box I can confirm no damage to any of my property - not even a single broken plate!

Well the window for delivery has expired and nobody can confirm that it’s coming. The toll-free number called the local office delivering the pod and their voicemail is full and nobody picks up the phone. Totally predictable for Florida.

The Storage it self was everything that I needed....Clean, durable and spacious. As for the pick up and billing issues, that's when my experience with PODS went spiraling downhill. I was told my pick up window was from 9am to 12pm om a Saturday and no one showed, so I decided to call customer service only to be told that no one could come for a pick up until Tuesday, which i felt was unacceptable. Then i was told The pod could be picked up on Monday....and for the inconvenience my pick up fee would be waived since i had already been charged for the NO SHOW pickup. Now its time for the POD to be picked up on Money....and BAM my account was charged again for the pick up and to ADD Insult to injury PODS auto billed my account for ANOTHER MONTH over $200....Now I'm LIVID... The the next Customer service Team member had little patience with me because it was the end of her shift....then i had to repeat the entire matter over again due to lack of account notes...only to be told...They don't know how long it will take for me to get my $200 plus dollar charge corrected....At this present moment I still have not receive not ONE credit

Just completed a cross country move. Very satisfied with my PODS experience! Each step of the process was completed on time and with outstanding customer service from the person that took my order to the drivers that delivered and picked up my POD. Highly recommend!.

Worst moving experience of my life. 100% recommend you AVOID pods at all costs. Just hire movers. Pods was LATE to pick up my pod so they also delivered it 2 days late. For DAYS not one employee even knew where our pod was (some thought at the house, some thought a warehouse). NO SUPERVISOR WOULD CALL ME BACK. I was promised callbacks twice. This FAILURE from PODS cost me $500+ in hotel room fees because they had all my stuff and REFUSED to delivery on the promised delivery date. Worst company EVER. Avoid them at ALL COSTS. On our last day we sat on the phone for over 40 MINUTES with no one to answer. They didn't know where our pod was or if it was even going to be delivered at all. So much stress and anxiety caused from this gigantic logistics failure. AVOID. PODS. JUST HIRE MOVERS. Please, for your own sanity, don't make my same mistake.

They did not deliver my Pod. Somehow they had my address listed as their storage facility and never sent an email to confirm the 3-hr window either. They "delivered" my Pod from the storage facility to the exact same storage facility and said it was completed. Then they have me scheduled to "pick-up" my Pod at that same storage facility in 4 days and return to the same place. Didn't anyone think that was odd and question it?? Now I am on a very tight time frame to move out by the 12th and no Pod (which has some of my things in it already) The lady at customer service was super helpful and tried to call the facility but no one answered (I guess that should not surprise me) so she had to email and said I should hear back from the facility manager within 48 hrs!! What?? My pod was to be delivered today on the weekend since I work during the week; like most people do. Worst is I did not schedule any of this online - I called and had a representative do it! :( I'm so disappointed in the lack of attention to details and ability of people to problem solve. I'm very sorry I went with them and not another company. Now they have charged me to deliver my pod to me but I do not have it - it is still at the storage facility. Not cool at all!!
