DO NOT USE THE BLUEBIRD CARD FROM AMERICAN EXPRESS....They will take your money and then when you call to report it, the Philippines reps will discourage you...They'll hang up on you and won't reimburse your money

Bizarre experience. I live in Japan. Opened premium AMEX credit card there for 500$ and they don’t have even English support, every time I call english support, non-english stuff is replying and tells me that english-speaking stuff will call back the same day or the next business day, and usually they call back in an hour or two, but once, so if you miss their call — good luck, need to call them again, speak to non-english stuff who will promise to call back. And there’s just one person who speaks english and who is helpful. Could you AMEX hire more people to answer urgent support service questions? Is it that difficult to provide reasonable support for clients who pay 500$/year? For urgent transaction-related problems or any problems, i don’t want to wait for a couple of hours or until the next business for somebody to call me back. On top of this, they screwed my last name which doesn’t fit their character limit on every possible document. Is it so difficult to fit any last name into the system in 21st century? The mobile application is just like it’s from stone age… It’s not modern credit organization in any sense, they don’t care about customer experience…

DO NOT USE AMEX LOWES CARD AND EXPECT TO USE THE CREDITS! I have over 82,000 points from the old reward system that are completely lost. I can't use them per American Express. I just wasted 60 min on the phone with a representative, a supervisor and a manager that refused to apply the 82000 points to an item charged for $835.05! I was told in order to use the points on any item it must match exactly the point amount! The crazy thing is an auto payment was made for 35.00 so the balance on the account was $800.05. So the moral of the story is Lowe's and AMEX does not want us to use credit points! Sadly. I'm returning the item, canceling our 3 business cards with Lowes and moving over to Home Depot and Ace. Hopefully they will honor their rewards! $35.05 loses you devoted AMEX customers since 1990. NO LONGER!!! We are cancelling all business and personal cards on ALL accounts and will move all of our business over the Citibank, BOFA and Chase.

Greetings & salutations. I have become informed of Amex "woke" stance on discrimination against people who do not have a certain color of skin. Kinda frightening, I don't see any end in sight of this class warehouse that has its roots in communism. Cutting up my Amex cards & going to a different company. Try finding Jesus.

I am a "foundation member" of American express in New Zealand since 1975 and have lately had a terrible time with American Express in Australia re renewing my Foundation member Gold card. They lost two in the mail and then sent me a third card still not with foundation member on it. Very disappointed at not to be able to get hold of anyone here in New Zealand. When ringing their-Auckland number 09--583-8300 I got talking to a machine in Manilla. What has happened to American Express?

I’m here to advise you guys that American Express is not a very good credit card to use I’ve been with them for 27 years and I have been having issues for the past 3 to 4 years with them. I recently had an issue where they close my account without telling me. They reclaim that they send it through an email which I never received or a letter that I have never received at my house. It caused my credit score to drop three points during a time that I was purchasing a home. I spent hours trying to fight and try and get my credit card close corrected and have them remove the negative inquiry into my credit score. American Express will never give you the corporate office number unless it’s an approval from their management. Bad business don’t waste your time or effort on them. There are better options out there.

If I could give a zero for this I would! My wife just got off the phone and was infuriated. I was listening in and noticed how unhelpful the supervisor was! She paid infull her statement which was over 3,000 I might at add. She had a confirmation from American Express stations that she pain well prior to the due date. Then yesterday she noticed that her payment didn’t go through yet she had a confirmation. Then she called her bank, American Express and verified the numbers. So the numbers were correct and the confirmation but that’s enough. They help you! They just want to charge Interest! They said they couldn’t do anything! She’s been a customer for 6 years and it means nothing. Credit card companies have no loyalty anymore. DONT AND I MEAN DON’T USE THIS COMPANY. Citibank never gave us any issues. I’d start there!
