I wanted to follow up with my previous post 2months ago. After the owner responded I decided to try him with MY SHOES: lots of shoes with heels and I have to re-tip. Have gone several times and I am NOT disappointed. He has me as an added customer. I have been recommending my friends and family to him. He is honest, demonstrate integrity. For example my son asked him about one of his sneakers and he told him, he could fix it but he doesn't recommend it would be a temporary fix. CLOTHES: I was still in my feelings regarding my dress from 2months and decided to bring it back, he was very professional, no argument, I walked in defensive mode and walked out feeling like a valid customer. I love small businesses and will continue supporting University Shoe Repair. It feels great to be valued as a customer. I highly recommend them

I came with a bunch of sneakers I’ve had since high school. All of which were in perfect condition. Only issue was the soles were separating in some spots and to avoid them getting worst and coming completely apart I brought them in for repair. Instead of telling me the shoes weren’t repairable they were completely taken apart, scraped off and destroyed. When I was called to pick up the sneakers and reached the store I was told they’re “too old” for repair and the soles wouldn’t stick. Let’s just say my retro sneakers that I’ve had for years were completely destroyed and cannot be worn. Not only cannot I not get them fixed at all. To replace them it’s impossible

FOUND A PLACE TO TAKE JUST ENOUGH OFF MY HIGHER HEELS TO MAKE THEM COMFORTABLE FOR ME TO WEAR AGAIN WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE SHAPE OR STRENGTH OF THE SHOES!!! I'm telling you now I can wear shoes that were just walk in and sit down for dinner to I can stand upand walk in for hours. It's like getting all new shoes!. Most of my shoes are still selling at Macy's at full price( when they're not having a sale)years later only because of my purchases are either unique or pumos that will always be in style. Believe me if you were going to give away shoes that you thought you no longer could wear try stopping by and see the difference not even an inch makes🙂

Great customer service, needed same day service to cut the heels of two pumps- I called asking several questions, the gentle that answered was polite and was accommodating. Getting great customer service is rare these days, so I was immediately drawn to do business with this establishment.

Best place around for sewing jackets boot repair practically anything I have brought in this guy has a solution. Very fair prices wouldn’t take anything anywhere else. I would give 10 stars if I could honestly!

Recommend for shoes...my boots repaired well. However, my backpack purse straps were not done so well. I added a picture to show how the glue used to adhere the part where the backpack straps stitching on top were coming loose is very visible. I should have asked if they were going to sew or glue the straps back on. *update* Even though the repair is not visibly pleasing to look at, it does seem to function/hold up so I use it for casual use and updated the review.
