This branch and its awful employees are an embarrassment to this institution I have been a member of for so many years. The employees are lazy and nonchalant, holding loud, inappropriate conversations instead of serving members and even playing chess on the back counter. Avoid this branch. They should be very ashamed of how they are tarnishing the reputation of Grow.

I have been Grow Financial FCU’ client for almost 20 years. Although it is not the best bank, it’s just convenient for me. I have never wanted to write a review on a bank, but I guess I have to now because I have never been poorly treated by a rude teller at this location. I couldn’t see his name tag clearly but only saw the first letter of his name “J”. He was wearing glasses, black hair. The day we walked in for notarizing some paper, which had been done for a few times before. That guy was very loud ( I am not exaggerating), asking us what kind of document that needed to be notarized. We didn’t even walk close to the counter yet. In such a small space, did he realize he needed to maintain clients’ privacy? We explained to him we did the same paper before, but he still insisted asking what type of document with his loud voice. We showed him the document instead of telling him. Fortunately, another employee, Ami, came and told him that she would take care of us. While Ami was working on our paper, I noticed he talked to other customers very softly and politely. So, he could have talked softly. It depends on which customer he will be serving. We don’t want to treat people who serve us with terrible manners, but we also don’t like to be treated poorly!! This employee doesn’t learn how to serve all customers with the same manner. Maybe we were too polite or because of our race. He never knows his customers’ background. I could have looked down on him, but I chose not because I am different from him. I understand his behavior doesn’t represent his employer, however, he has already ruined the reputation of the company. Thus, when Ami asked us if we were interested in other business that Grow offered, we politely refused. I hope we no longer have to deal with this type of staff in this place.

The ATM’s at ALL Tampa bay grow Financial Credit Union are RIDICULOUS!! They never work constantly out of order!! I shouldn’t have to drive to 5 different locations and all ATM’s DOWN!! Make it make sense?? I should be able to access my money on the weekends with no issue but every weekend all ATM’s are always down. Weekdays as well, but it’s a for sure not working 100% of the time on the weekends. Y’all need to get it together

Customer service is terrible! I used to enjoy banking here. These people could use some customer service coaching. Usually when I walk in I'm acknowledged. Not today. I walk in. I'm just standing. Two associates appear to be doing nothing and the third is with a customer. The two who seem to be doing nothing start laughing it up. After this chuckle one of the associates (an Asian gentleman) says he can help me. As soon as I stepped forward he was very rude and loud. Now I'm irritated. He can't locate my account so I said ok someone else can help me. He says good, maybe someone else will want to help you. I then said it doesn't matter if you or anyone else wants to help me, it's your job. The woman he sent me to wasn't any better, except she was able to locate my account. Thank goodness this is not my primary institution for my financial needs. The rudness & just all around bad customer service is definitely one of the reasons why I closed my childrens account.
