On April 5th I began excruciating pain in my lower left side pelvic floor. On April 7th My PCM discovered I had a 10.8cm by 10cm by 6.3cm Ovarian cyst. At which time he referred me to my OBGYN and prescribed me 15, 5/325 Percocet q6h, 2.5 days worth of pain medication. On April 9th my OB called and informed me she was on vacation and could not see me un til April 12th. Therefore, my PCM prescribed me 30 more Percocet, 5 days worth. That evening my Ob called and asked me to ER and get a CT to make sure my cyst had not ruptured or twisted. The ER prescribed me medication which I did not fill. On April 12th my OB seen me and referred me to a OB Oncologist. At that time she prescribed me 30 more Percocet to get me to the 22nd when the Oncologist could see me. On the 22nd of April the Oncologist seen me and wrote me another prescription for Percocet to get me through until surgery on April 28th. On April 29th when released from the hospital the Oncologist prescribed me 30 10/325 Percocet because the 5/325 Percocet was not helping my pain at all. He informed me if the 10mg did not work go back to my PCM and have him manage my pain which I did. My PCM prescribed me 2mg Dilaudid. The pharmacist at Gordons in Pembroke refused to fill my script. She finally had my husband come back to our house and bring her my prescription of Percocet even though he told her we were discontinuing that medication. When he returned with that prescription she told him she found out it was illegal for her to confiscate the old prescription and she was going to reluctantly fill my script. The following day this pharmacist red flagged me in the state for Dr hopping and drug seeking. I have never been on pain medication like this. I am a established patient at this pharmacy. My Doctors are now fighting with the state because they have been told they must drop me as a patient. I am 6 days post op and cant get any pain medication. I am in excruciating pain not just due to my surgery but because the amount of scar tissue the doctor had to go through because of a surgery I had two years ago o remove half my pancreas. Please be warned of this pharmacy because even though I had a emergency situation where I was on medication the last month this pharmacy took it upon themselves to rather than find out what was going on with me, they just jumped to the conclusion that all of a sudden I was a drug head. PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE YOU USE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, COMPASSIONLESS pharmacy.

Gordons is a real neighborhood pharmacy. They know you by name and always help you find coupons. They special order one of my meds bc I need a certain brand. I know it costs more, but Keith does it anyway for me. Only complaint is that sometimes they don’t have things in stock and have to order but it’s to be expected with limited space.
