Very rudeness from cashier there only 2 that does that. Girl that is working now and she has attitudes you all should see cameras as is this only to some people as I seen.

This is not a knock on the employees that work tirelessly inside the store, but this is for who ever sets up the prompts at pay at the pump. Many , many, many times I have gone to get gas and pay at the pump and a prompt comes up are you a rewards member, I check no and it cancels out the whole sale. Then I have to walk inside to pay for gas, I DO NOT like waiting in lines or have people breathing on the back of my neck, if I wanted to go inside the store for something in which I do on occasion I will try to wait until the line clears. But most of the time I'm just getting gas in which every where else I can simply slide my card and get my gas. Racetrack on the other hand I guess you are forced to be a rewards member to have the privilege of pay at the pump.

It would be nearly impossible to overstate how poorly this place is managed. Gavett Sullivan (the "manager") is among the most incompetent, disrespectful, and unprofessional employees, let alone managers, I've ever encountered. (As a side note: This whole labor-shortage thing has gotten entirely out of hand. 30-year-olds across America are putting down their video game controllers, canceling their weekly Dungeons & Dragons meetups, pulling themselves off their parents' basement sofas and dusting the Flamin' Cheetos off their Spongebob tshirts, and being given jobs as store managers at corporate gas stations. 😳What a time to be alive! 😆) But I digress... I went into this location to purchase a nicotine device. I explained to an employee what I was looking for, and that I was not very familiar with them and needed some guidance. She handed me some 'pods' and a device, which I noticed were not the same brand, so I asked if that would be an issue. She assured me they were compatible, so I took her word for it and purchased them both. As it turned out, they were not compatible, but she was obviously new... and mistakes happen. So I went back inside and very kindly explained to the first cashier available what happened, assuming there would be some kind of easy resolution. The cashier turned out to be the "store manager", which was initially a huge relief...but NOT for long. For the reasons mentioned in the above description, obviously, he attempted to shirk his responsibility by simply asserting there was nothing he could do. The. Store. Manager. NOTHING?! Seriously?! I have ZERO experience as a gas station store manager, and yet, I could wake up out of a dead sleep and think of at least THREE things, right off the top of my head. Anyway, I was able to call corporate and speak with the district manager, who was very kind and apologetic and immediately resolved the situation entirely... in under sixty seconds. Thankfully, it seems the labor shortage isn't yet bad enough to have impacted the quality of candidates in 'upper management'.

I understand that COVID changed the hours of a lot of businesses. But I don’t understand why a giant chain is still limiting their hours a year and a half later when most of their competition is back to business as usual. I believe they’ve been closing the store at eleven because I always seem to be passing by at 11:05 and they’re closed. Tonight (September 2021) I’m here at 9:43. The parking lot is packed. There are multiple employees inside so it must not be a staffing issue. I walked up to the door ten minutes ago and the door was unlocked. I went to step inside and I was all but tackled by a woman telling me, while shaking her hand in my face, “no! No! We are closed!” As she shooed me away. Nice. There were other customers inside the store and two customers at the register and another employee working behind the register. I don’t understand. How is this your standard operating procedure? I guess you guys rake in the dough during the morning. Enough to shun your customers who work nights. It seems like QT is still open all night and are much more personable and open to taking my money…. My advice forget this place. Maybe they’ll bring wawa, sheetz or one of the other service stations down here. You know, the ones that racetrac desperately tries and fails at emulating.

I walked in the cashier Kaylen acted as though I was bothering her, did not greet me and when I said thank you she says yep and rolled her eyes…. Horrible customer service. Then some other girls of a different ethnicity she was nice. I come to this race trac often but not sure if I will be coming back.

Okay racetrack... if you are going to keep closing at least open on time. I have been waiting outside for an hour for some coffee and some fuel. Its says you open at 5:30, but here I am at 5:35 waiting to come in. 10/10/21...

Closed for "deep cleaning" ? Or Open 24 hours? Im confused... Since when did Racetrac start closing to mop???? This ia 2nd Racetrac that has closed at 3am. I just visited a facility 20 minutes away and they were closed to "count money". Something very strange going on here!

My young daughter and I stopped at this gas station a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to take the time to give praise to the manager that was on duty, Garrett I believe is his name. I had stopped at racetrac so my daughter could pick out some candy as a special treat and she, of course, was VERY excited. When she couldn't decide what she wanted to get, she decided to recruit an employee there to help her. Mr. Garrett was happy to comply to my daughter's request. She proceeded to ask him questions about different candies, asking him what he would choose, why, etc etc, he was so patient with her and answered all of her questions with a smile along with the occasional giggle. Never in my life have I been in an establishment where the employee was so kind, so patient and happy to to answer all of her seemingly silly questions. We often forget that our children's questions, no matter how small, or truly important to them. Thank you Mr. Garrett for showing such compassion and humility towards my daughter. Tpu made her day a little brighter, mine too. 😊 God bless you.

Ms Lauren is the manager at this store. We were here for baseball and there was a gas shortage. This sweet lady took the time out of her early morning to call around to find gas and help an ole boy like me out! Give the lady a raise! She worth the money! God Bless you little lady!

This store is horrible. If I could give it less than one star I would! You would think its a surgical center as many times that its "closed for deep cleaning". Don't waste your time stopping here. Missed opportunity for a gas station on this spot of land. My favorite is the employees that look at you from inside knowing that they are closed as you walk from the pumps up to the door. No attempt by them to use the speakers to warn you they are closed. I'm done stopping here. I recommend everyone bypass this location.
