Terrible dirty place!! Floor full of junk! More clothes on the floor than on hangers! Lots of complaints

Shop here often. You'll be surprised of what you can find here. Check them out.

Have been in many times. We have dropped off many items of value and they never make it to the sales floor. Either it is picked off by employees or transported to another store (if they do that). They have old clothes from the 70s and 80s, junk that people were going to throw in the trash but didn’t. I’ve yet to find anything worth making the trip into the doors. Maybe I’m wrong but with 5-7 donation drops, I’ve never seen anything make it into the store.

Everything is packed into a very tiny space and the management was quite rude during my visit. I asked a simple question and got snapped at. Doubt I'll be back. Quite a disappointment as well since I grew up volunteering in a salvation army and have always viewed it as a haven and safe place.

That place was a mess and the manager has always got a bad attitude and they take stuff and put in their vehicles and don't pat anything, I THOUGHT IT WAS FOR THE LESS FORTUNATE

Most prices are way below retail, even though they've raised prices. A few things are priced higher than from where they originally came. I avoid the latter. If you are a price comparer, you know what to buy there. I'd like to see information posted announcing what they've done to help people. Overall, I'm a regular, happy customer who appreciates a well-organized, clean store .

I like going here. Alot of nice gently used like new items. The prices are to high though. A lot of the stuff can be purchased brand new for cheaper than what they charge for it, Or atleast around the same price as they charge. Its all free and donated to them. But they act like it is a loss that is coming out of their pocket if they dont charge everyone an arm and a leg for everything. They gotta be making alot of money. There needs to be a place where the people that really need things can go and get it but at a good price thats affordable for people that's having a hard time and strugglin.

I did some spring cleaning and took a lot of unneeded items to the salvation army in Douglas. The person on the dock said she couldn't accept the items. It was an hour till closing so I guess she didn't want to work any more that day. Too bad for them, some were high dollar items. I bet the goodwill in waycross will want all the items!!!

The Douglas Salvation Army generally has excellent buys. Sometimes, you come across an old band shirt or book that will surprise you. Need an outfit on the cheap? They sell the shoes, the purse, and the hat! The also offer formal wear. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. An overall great shopping experience.
