Had the worst experience EVER with Avis at the Lagrange location. I previously made a reservation for a 12 passenger van on 5/10 for the week of July 4th. My pick up time and date was 7/2 @ 12. Had received 2 calls earlier in the week confirming the rental each time I told the rep yes I would be there Saturday morning. Got a call on the day of pick (when I was 6 minutes away from the location) stating my rental would be there shortly after my pick up time. So I said no problem I’ll shop around for a few so that they could get things together. Just decided to swing over around 12:45 because they close at 1 to check on things ONLY to find out that the rental still wasn’t there and wouldn’t be coming that day! The rep offered me two separate rentals which defeated the purpose because we own four cars that we could’ve driven separately. The purpose of the rental was to take 1 vehicle because we didn’t want to risk my husband driving so far because he works 3rd shift and would’ve been just getting in from working 12 hours the morning of our departure. Needless to say he had been up all day the day of pick up taking me to Avis which was an hour away from where we live. The rep was very apologetic gave me a # to call but it still was pointless. As the rep explained there was nothing he could do for me. 🤣 I WILL NEVER BOOK A RENTAL WITH AVIS AGAIN AND WILL MOST DEFINITELY LET all of my colleagues know the experience I had with them because the corporation I’m employed with gives us discounts with Avis and a lot of us book with them because they give good rates. I didn’t allow this horrible experience to ruin my kids vacation though, But to @&)) with Avis!! 😡😡😡😡 This was by far one of the Worst experience and customer service experience I’ve ever dealt with!

The young man named Matt at the service desk was very proficient and I was amazed by his customer service.. Of course we live in a culture today where a lot of young people know nothing about customer service. Matt was very helpful informative and I appreciate his character so much....

Giving this place 5 stars based almost completely on customer service. I always deal with the same person, Gregory (younger guy with longish hair), and he’s awesome EVERY SINGLE TIME. He’s so nice and accommodating, that this is the only company I’ll rent from, from now on. The cars are always exceptionally clean and I’ve had no problems when renting from Avis. Wish I could give 10 stars.

Greg is AWESOME!!! He was EXTREMELY polite and made sure that I was taken care of every step of the way! A lady came inside and screamed and yelled at Greg for something out of his control but he remained professional!! He not only listened to my needs for a rental but he went above and beyond to make sure that my children and I were comfortable with plenty of leg room for my kids! I will definitely be renting from this location in LaGrange again! #TeamGreg

I've had to rent a car several times due to travel ball and vacations. This location customer service is amazing! He went above and beyond for me and I will never forget how kind he was. A smile will go a long way. He's respectful and a pure blessing! Make a reservation and rent from Budget/Avis. You won't be disappointed.

Poor communication and service. I had a confirmed reservation with Avis 1468 Lafayette Pkwy Lagrange Ga Reservation was paid in advanced, When I arrived to pickup my Unit the Manger Greg (manager} ID#38145 informed me that his facility didn't have any cars on his lot to accommodate my reservation. I asked the manager why didn't I receive a phone call or email stating that they didn't have any units. He laughs and says I didn't have your number. I'm a Avis preferred member and Greg, didn't want to rent to me due to my nationality. Greg had over 8 hours to contact me to advise that Avis didn't have a rental unit for me. He waited until I arrived to give me this information. I saw additional units on the LOT, Greg discriminated against me. I will be filing a formal complaint with Avis corporate location.

What a great experience! This location - while with the corporate AVIS name and support - is family owned and operated. They take care of their customers the old fashioned way….. and it shows! I will 100% rent from here again and thank you thank you thank to Greg and team for taking amazing care of me!

This was by far the best experience I've had. Hands down the customer service that Greg at the Lagrange ga Lafayette Pkwy provided was beyond me. During the picking up of my rental I ran into a problem with my credit card, his hospitality during this was amazing. Once the situation was rectified, Greg was saying thank you for my patience even though this was no where near in his control. He still felt the need to ease my frustration when I should have and did many of times thanked him for his patience, kindness, and understanding. He then proceeded to walk through the vehicle explaining everything thoroughly. This young man deserves a raise! Thank you Greg for your patience and excellent customer service 👏😁😁
