Wow! Tim's special cut meats does it again! I got what I ordered over the phone, and my order was special-packed for the freezer which I greatly appreciate! And the kicker is I asked for a delicious topping for my meat, and the employee there, came out from behind the counter went out into the shop and came back with a couple of jars of killer choices of toppings to sprinkle on my beef steaks! I was very impressed with the extra service. I'll be back for sure!

We bought a coeur d alene package from tims. It was gross. Whether it was chicken, pork, or beef, it all smelled the same. Don't know if it's the chemicals they use to clean the tables and equipment with, but it all smells sweet. The beef steaks were thin, pale, and not very flavorful. At nearly $500 for the package, I was not happy with the low quality product. We have since found a new butcher, who for literally half the price, has thick, deep red beef steaks. The meat actually smells like meat, and you can smell the difference between chicken, beef, and pork. Save your money.

I bought ham at Easter and had them cut off the hock with extra meat on it. I used that hock to make baked with for the 4th of July. The smokiness of the ham added so much flavor. The ham was the star in the baked beans.

I've been a regular here with my husband for over a year now. We cannot imagine going anywhere else for quality, freshness, and service. We also believe in supporting as local as possible and they source as much locally as they can. This was my summary for you, but continue reading for more deets! QUALITY: As a Post Falls local my whole life, I'd only recently tried Tims in the last couple years because we decided since COVID, to spend more to support locally owned and sourced for meats as well as after reading several consumer reports for grocery store meats commonly containing fillers and disgusting additives. They are often so busy now, that sometimes they are out of certain products largely based on freshness. I know for a fact that whatever is in the case is very fresh and the quality is always top notch. I always follow the representative's suggestions too! Ask them what is the freshest and best right now. They won't steer you wrong if you are skeptical. We like, and enjoy, that though there are always some consistently in stock products, but they also have a large quantity of "seasonal" or hit or miss products to allow for variety and continued freshness. You can also place orders in advance which is especially helpful if you want to make a specific dish or want to prepare for the holidays. OFFERINGS: We've tried their prime rib, ribeyes, salmon, thick cut pork chops, ribs, sirloin, lunch meats, bacon, chicken breasts and thighs, sausage, duck, jerky, spices/rubs, and marinades. Probably close to everything at this point. When the salmon is in I always get it. It is my personal favorite and my now 9 month old is also obsessed with it (since he was 6mos). Most tender and flavorful filets I've ever had. We haven't bought the set meat packs they have, but we would consider it if finances allowed. Since their products are locally sourced, the flavors of products do have a "grass fed" or unique flavor to it which can take some getting used to overall. It also varies by farmer. Sometimes even now, I'm not a huge fan, but I'd say 8-9/10 times I enjoy it! So just keep that in mind that flavor can vary. SERVICE: I've had exemplary service from all staff here. Even a blonde young lady, which must be her first job, is eager to please, friendly, and is helpful even if she is not as speedy as the more seasoned associates. If she didn't know something or was unsure about how to do it, she always asked for help to make sure it was done properly. But I love all the staff that has helped my husband and I! There's a sweet woman there that is very helpful, the Asian American man is awesome and super fast, then a couple other men one middle aged and the other older (usually in the back cutting) are a plethora of knowledge. Literally everyone is so knowledgeable and so helpful. I always trust their judgment when selecting products and I haven't been disappointed yet! Happy to have a local butcher we can trust! We plan our whole week's menu around Tim's and their business hours too. We trust them that much.

I can not say in words how awesome this place is. I'm a huge meat guy my self and I try to make it here once a week. The prices are grea because what your receiving is the best of the best as far as I'm concerned.

Tim is the hardest working Butcher I know. Nothing better than that hometown butcher feel. Meat is outstanding and the service is a cut above the rest.

LOVE this place, what an incredible variety of olive oils, spices, barbecue sauces, the list is too long to include here. And bonus, they have bacon without nitrates! The custom cuts of prime and choice meats is insane. And the staff is extremely knowledgeable and fun.

LOVE this place! Only place we can find natural hog casings. Lots of specialty items and great selection of bacon and meats including fish. Friendly service.

A great selection of rubs, seasonings, meats, and even some outdoor fire pits. It is a wonderful place to browse, and also has jerky, sausages and beef. It is expensive though. This is a butcher shop, but not your local everyday grocer. I would recommend it for special occasions.

This place is Fantastic! The Staff is Friendly and Helpful! The meats which there is a wide variety of, are delicious and they will season them for free! So Cool! Oh and very Yummy!!😋 We got a Tomahawk steak last time which they seasoned perfectly! Every bite was enjoyed!😋 This time a Porterhouse for my hubby and I got a tenderloin! Both are seasoned by Renee who is so friendly😊 and we got seasonings to bring home along with breakfast sausage to make gravy for biscuits! 😋 I feel like a kid in a candy store with so much too choose from!😁 So many flavors on chicken, fish, etc. I am definitely going back!😋 Thank you Tim's for being 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 Awesome!
