Ketchup container was out. Informed staff. They handed me ketchup packets instead of filling the container (store was almost empty of customers). I asked them to replenish the container but got dirty looks. Then they brought out a contain that didn't fit and the plunger was too long. Other customers thought this was strange as well. Not planning on coming back.

A little confused. how big are your beefs supposed to be? Ours we got this evening seemed to have shrunk by at least 2.5 inches since the last time we were there 2 months ago. Thank you for having vegan options but charging more for even less food? yikes guys.

I'll be honest. I do find myself heading to Portillos more often than Buona. From this day forward...more Buona than Portillos. Here is my reasons why: EVERYTIME I come to Buona...fries always fresh and hot. I like that I can get my own drinks and refills. The bread quality is better. I love their italian beef more compared to Portillos. Today I tried the Cheesy Italian Beef. It was perfect! Thank you Buona. You'll be seeing me more often now.

Good beef sandwich! Tried the Cheddar beef today. I didn't realize it had cheddar cheese sauce underneath. I wish it was just the melted shredded cheese on top..but still good

I took my son and my grandson out for dinner at Buona in Huntley, And while the food was good, freshly prepared, and the service was fast, my order was prepared incorrectly. We did not have time to have it corrected, so I ate what I was given. I had asked for a double cheeseburger with cheddar cheese and bacon, no bun. I ended up with American cheese on my double with a bun. I guess I probably wouldn’t feel as dissatisfied if it didn’t cost so much to eat out these days. When I checked my receipt it had been rung up incorrectly and the cashier was listed as a man rather than the young woman who handled the order. Not a horrible experience, but disappointing.

This restaurant gives a refreshing positive look at how staff should be trained and handle their job. We are regular patrons of Buona's and enjoy their food- everything from the famous beefs (my favorite is the beef & sausage bowl!) to salads. But what prompted this review is the tremendous service provided by the team at Buona- from the register to the kitchen to the young man that bagged and presented our order they were smiling, attentive and appeared happy to be doing their job and happy that we chose their restaurant. Restaurant work is a tough gig and finding people that so clearly know how to do it right and seem to enjoy it gives me respect for both them and for the management team that hired and trained them. Well done !

Order a variety of different items to try this place out. Everything was delicious, expect the fries and the chicken Parmesan sandwich. The fries tasted old, and the parm sandwich wasn’t a “fan” favorite. I was a little disappointed with their delivery, I received it as pictured. There was no cover to show if someone had broken it or taken anything out. Overall, their Italian beef was great and the burgers were fresh.

If you haven't had a chance to try them this would be the right time. They added fresh pasta to their extensive menu. I had Tortellini pesto cream the first time. It was perfect. We signed up for their reward app a while back. You get $5 Off coupon when you first sign up. We have been back numerous times since then. They also give you a free sandwich for your Birthday. Plus you earn discount points for future purchases that they are very generous with. Environment conscious clients will appreciate reusable bowls and silverware. You will be back just like us since the portion size and prices are excellent. In the nice weather with canape over seating outside is available. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere in this fast food price restaurant. You will be back as one of the fans.
